Recurring charge for an add-on
Hello, I’m trying to cancel a payment for a rest of the world add on that I signed up for last August. It keeps being added to my bill each month, but I’m not selecting it. On the website it says “Fancy a boost in a country not covered in our 50 free roaming destinations? Get extra data with add-ons that last from 1 day to 10 days. We recommend purchasing a Roam Beyond add-on before you travel to avoid out-of-plan charges.” So I don’t understand how it has been added to my bill for so long. A customer service agent on the live chat would not tell me the expiry date of my add on. Am I stuck with this charge indefinitely? Thank you!

Renewing PAYG plan before last one expires
Hi, my PAYG plan expires in a few days but I have run out of data and already topped up once. I would like to renew my PAYG plan now, not wait for it to expire. I also found last time my plan came to an end, it expired and I then had no internet or calls to be able to renew the plan. I had to find WiFi quickly to renew. Is there a way I can renew the plan a day or 2 before it we expires so I can avoid these situations? Thanks

I have a 2 month contact, but I'd like to change my contract - for a new phone
I made the mistake of buying the new Samsung S25 Ultra back in May 2025, thinking it was the best option at the time. I signed a 2-year contract. Now I’ve just seen the release of the Samsung Z Fold 7 — only two months too late for me! It’s honestly the perfect phone for my needs, especially because I often need to open multiple emails at once for work, and the wider screen would make a big difference. I don’t mind paying extra — I’d be happy to trade in my current phone, extend the contract, or do whatever’s needed. I’d just really like to switch to that model, as it would be a game changer when I don’t have my laptop with me. Unfortunately, I don’t see any upgrade or contract change options in the app. Is there anything else I could do? Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions! Hopefully, ID Mobile can meet me halfway — I’d really appreciate the chance to make the switch, even if it means paying a bit more.

can't view some websites
I'm new to ID Mobile and I'm having a problem trying to view a website. I have a dual SIM phone and my other SIM allows me to view these sites but my new ID mobile SIM in the same phone, does not. I have the adult content filter set to view adult sites, although the site in question isn't exactly adult. It's my local libraries log in page. Is there another setting I need to turn on or off please?

Very poor 4G phone signal coverage
Past week very poor phone coverage. Keeps dropping off altogether. Unable to make/receive calls. Have gone outside but no better. Having to constantly restart my phone, comes back with only 1 or 2 bars at most. Have not made any changes to phone/Sim.

5G works fine as soon as it drops to 4G mobile data stops
I have a eSIM and the 5G works great but when it drops to 4G I have no internet at all, won’t even load up the iDmobile app. I’ve tried all the suggestions I can find other than trying the sim in someone else’s phone which I can’t do.

Not Received my Curry's Gift Card
I upgraded my iD Mobile contract in April which started on 08/04/25, and I was supposed to receive a £50 Currys gift card as part of this upgrade. I have checked the contract documents and it confirms that the £50 gift card is included. I received an email from DPD on the 08/04/25 saying my order will arrive on the 11th April (I assumed this was the gift card as a new SIM card was not needed) and then received another follow-up email to say that there was a delay with the delivery but no new delivery date was given. I have not heard anything since from DPD. I contacted iD Mobile via live chat in early May and I was told to contact Gift Cloud which I believe are the suppliers for the gift card. I contacted Gift Cloud on 13/05 and finally on 19/07, they have responded to say that I am not eligible for the gift card because the order was not tracked via MSE or any other affiliate. However, this gift card offer was not through a 3rd party affiliate, as it was offered on the iD Mobile website as part of their Easter upgrade deals. Can anyone offer any advice as this is really fustrating?

Your ultimate guide to streaming sport this summer!Blog
Sports fans are in for a treat this summer. It’s jam-packed with huge tournaments, races and more – and to celebrate, we're giving you the chance to win a HISENSE 55E6NTUK 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV! If you don’t want to miss a second of the non-stop action, we’re here to help. We’ll show you how to stream all the unmissable moments live on your iPhone or Android. And we’ll explain how to get your phone plan prepped, whether you’re watching at home or cheering from the sidelines abroad. Just follow this handy guide to catch every goal, match point and chequered flag without any nasty surprises on your mobile bill, and find out how to enter our incredible giveaway. Let’s get going… First things first: Get your data plan match fit. Streaming sport can use up a big chunk of your data. Meaning it’s a good idea to check your plan before kick-off to see how much data you’ve got to play with. Watching in standard definition can use up to 1GB per hour, while high definition will triple that, gobbling up a whopping 3GB or so every 60 minutes. If the football goes to extra time and pens, it’s safe to say you’ll be using a lot. So, if you’re planning on watching every single second, now’s the perfect time to think about upgrading. With a new plan, you might even be able to get more data for your money! Watching in the UK: Wimbledon & British GP. Most sport nowadays is locked behind a paywall. You don’t need an expensive subscription here though. You can catch two of the UK’s biggest sporting events for free on your phone… Wimbledon (June 30 – July 13) – Arguably the biggest grand slam in the tennis calendar, Wimbledon is always ace. And it’ll serve up some big hitting matchups, with world number one Jannik Sinner looking to bounce back from his final defeat at the French Open. But if Carlos Alcaraz – last year’s winner – has anything to say about it, we could be in for another titanic battle for the trophy. You can stream matches from each round live on BBC iPlayer. British Grand Prix (July 4 – July 6) – Hamilton’s switch to Ferrari hasn’t exactly gone to plan so far. With zero wins, and zero finishes on the podium, Lewis has a lot to do to climb the standings. Could home advantage at Silverstone help him take the top spot? Find out and watch the race live on the All 4 app. Roaming in Europe: Tour de France & Belgian GP. Jetting off to Europe? You can use your phone just like you do at home (in certain countries) with iD Mobile’s Roam Free service . You’ll have pretty much the same amount of minutes, texts and data from your regular plan (up to a 30GB fair usage limit), all available at no extra cost. Result. Tour de France (July 5 – July 27) – The world’s most gruelling cycle race pedals onto screens at the start of July. And you can see every sprint and lightning-fast descent on Eurosport and Discovery+. We’re just glad it’s not us doing those punishing hill climbs. Belgian Grand Prix (July 25 – July 27) – More motorsport. Yes please! The F1 hops over the channel with a trip to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit – the longest track on the current race calendar. To see all 44 laps, you’ll need a Sky Sports subscription (also accessible via Sky Go), or a NOW TV pass. Cheering on the Lionesses at the Euros? If you’ve been lucky enough to bag tickets to the footie over in Switzerland, we make it easy to stay connected. The land of skiing and top choc is one of our ‘ Roam Beyond ’ destinations. What’s that then? Well, depending on how long it takes for England to be crowned champions (or get knocked out in devastating fashion), you can buy a one day, five day, or ten day data add-on. Just make sure to sort this before you start using your data over there. Otherwise, you could be in for a big ol’ bill. Women’s Euros (July 2 – July 27) – Can Sarina Wiegman’s side make it back-to-back Euros titles? With a tough looking group (France and the Netherlands are no push overs) it’s not going to be an easy one. And with a serious turnover in the squad – we miss you already, Mary Earps – the team isn’t as experienced as it once was. You’ll be able to catch each match over on BBC iPlayer and ITVX. From managing your data at home to understanding roaming in France, Belgium and Switzerland, you should now be all set to stream this epic summer of sport. Before you head off though, double check your plan (can you upgrade?) and roaming options in the iD Mobile app . Giveaway time! Got a favourite team you'll be cheering on this summer? Whether you're following the football, dreaming of a Wimbledon win, or have your eyes glued to the Tour de France, we want to know who you're supporting! Tell us who you are supporting this summer in sport in the comments below for a chance to win a HISENSE 55E6NTUK 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV—perfect for watching all the action in stunning detail. The winner will be picked at random, so keep an eye on your inbox or DMs for a message from us. But hurry—the competition closes on 21st July at 23:59!

Awful reception in a variety of areas? (Scotland)
Hey folks. I'm currently doing a road trip around Scotland. I've stopped off now at 5 different parts of Scotland. Every area I've arrived at I've struggled to get any form of Internet connection at all! Having a connection is very important to me and needed. It's so bad that I had to purchase an esim and have paid to use this. The esim is running perfect. Very fast stable speeds. The idmobile sim is just awful. If I do eventually get a connection it's beyond slow or constantly just disconnects. I pay Idmobile monthly for this service and it's not being provided. Every area I arrive at I use the status checker and it doesn't matter where I am it just says. We're fixing an issue in this area at the moment and aim to have things back up-and-running as soon as possible. This is at every stop I've been to. Some are 300 miles apart. What can I do? I've tried switching from 5g to 4g only. I've restarted my phone numerous times. I've took my sim out and cleaned it. I'm at my breaking point now. Paying for a service that so poor and then paying another company just so I can connect to the net.
