I have been using 2-factor authentication for my twitter account for a long time and it was working fine. A few days ago I couldn’t log onto my account as verification code was not being texted to my phone. I am now receiving this message “Error. We cannot send a text message to this phone number because its operator is not supported.” Has anyone faced this problem before? How can I address this? With many thanks Munya

My 2 year contract on buying a new phone runs out mid April. I’ve had an email telling me I can then swap to a 30 day SIM only contract @ £6, and I’d like to do this - but there is no option given in ‘My Account’. There are options for other more expensive contracts, but not for the SIM only contract. Obviously it’s unllikely that ID can respond at the moment. Does anyone know how to get this done? I don’t know if the SIM only option doesn’t appear because I’m still in contract, but I’d like to organise a seamless transition - rather than change after the contract ends and pay another month at the high rate. I have owned my Motorola Edge 30 for a few months now, great phone, sadly being let down by the lack of security patch releases! My device is still running with security patch 1st August 2022, yet here we are on 22nd November 2022! Motorola have informed me, after providing them with my IMEI, that there is an October 2022 update that has been released by them, however, when this update is made available to me, is dependent on my carrier, not Motorola! As I think we are all aware these days, the security of our devices is paramount! So why on earth is ID Mobile leaving my device vulnerable, by having not released a security patch since 1st August 2022? I have obviously been checking for updates regularly through settings etc and have had automatic update option enabled from day 1! I personally find this totally unacceptable! What's everyone elses opinion on this and are you affected too? Thanks.

I received a new sim due to losing my phone. I have inserted it into an unlocked phone yet I have no service?

This seems like a bad design issue. I registered for an ID Community account and (it seems) didn’t verify the email address. Today I came to answer a question on the community and got the error code that I do not have permission to post to ID Community. Fair enough, but absolutely nothing hinted at why that might be. I contacted ID Mobile Live Chat who said that the Community is nothing to do with them and suggested I ask the question to the Community, which of course I could not do. Stuck - Catch-22 In the end I have registered a new email address, verified it and can now post (hence this message). But it seems that there should at least be an option to re-send the verification email. Or, when the “You do not have permission to post to ID Community” messages throws up, to have a few suggestions about why that might be. It also seems that I cannot now delete the old account (using the previous e-mail). I can login to the Community with it, but it has no other options, because the e-mai

Apologies if this is not posted in the correct place - I’m trying to checkout online but the basket page does not load once there is an item added to it. It loads ok if it is empty. I’ve tried both on my phone and on my laptop, and have also tried in a private browser window.

I have just arrived in France and the network selection has picked FREE . Issue is the network only shows 1 bar. If I manually select network Orange I get 4 bars My question- by switching off Automatic selection and selecting which network works best in the area. Does that incur any extra chargers from iD mobile ? please let me know

Few strange things this week. I have just realised that I cannot call landlines. I suspect that it may have been impacting incoming landline calls also for at least a week. I have wifi calling enabled and tried airplane mode to force use of WiFi calling but calls disconnect on first ring. I did also have a call on Monday from a stranger saying they had 2 missed calls from me on their mobile but I had no outgoing calls to them. Any idea what I can do to correct this?

Hi, I am planning to buy a new immobile contract and want to switch to my old number to IDmobile. However the switching date is shown as the day when I would have travelled outside the UK. I will activate my sim while in the uk but when the switching happens, I will be outside UK. Can I still use the id mobile on roaming in this scenario or I need to be in the uk when switching happens?
