Cancel sim only during 14 day cooling off period

Hi I have received my sim card , haven't put it in my phone yet , but I want to use the 14 day cooling off period to cancel it. Can you tell me how I do this please.

Removing a default from my credit file

Good afternoon, So I have a problem that I need your help with. It appears that I have a default on my credit file from IDmobile. Its from a sim only 30 day plan that I had over three years ago. I never used the sim in the end as it was was bought for my business and never needed, I cancelled the DD and thought that was that, I pretty soon realised that it wasn't as simple as that when I received a letter with an outstanding amount, I paid that and thought no more of if… Fast forward to last month and I’m informed that I can't get the mortgage that I’ve applied for due to my  (what I thought was immaculate) credit score, so I obtained a copy of it and discovered that after I had cleared my account, the monthly charge hadn't been stopped… The problem with that is that I had also moved house in that period and despite having mail redirected, I was not made aware of any outstanding balance. App not connecting to network

App has worked fine for over 6 months. Today I opened it and when entering pin got repeatedly an oops app network connection problem. Deleted and reinstalled app and now can't do anything at all as immediately on opening I get 'Alert. Unable to connect to the server. Please check the network settings'. Other apps. Internet and email fine. Tried with Wi-Fi and mobile data. Any ideas? Thanks

Account log in issues

I haven't been able to log in to my account for several months, so am unable to view my bills. Not only that, when I attempt to change my user name/password or whatever, the site just doesn't respond to anything I do. I am a bit of a technophobe, but if the site doesn't respond to anything I try, what can the problem be?

Keeping my old number

I have moved from EE to Id mobile and have (by various means) sent my PAC code , possibly around 4/5 times now to no avail. I've tried to contact iD via phone (automated service usually hangs up) or online via chatbot which directs me to 'how to get your PAC code' this does not help. I've tried going through Carphone Warehouse as I purchased my mobile from them and they cannot help either . I've had my new phone since 17/11 and my old number being 'ported' still hasn't been processed . Where do I go from here ????

My order was declined. Why?

Hi Very frustrated ‘customer’ here. July 2018, My wife wanted a new iPhone SE through car phone warehouse and was declined for a £15 a month tariff with no explanation as staff are not informed of the reason. We have an excellent credit rating and there should be no reason to be declined. So I tried my luck to register the phone in my name and bingo! No problem. New phone. Happy wife. 2 months later, my phone was due an upgrade and I thought i would go for the same phone and tariff as my wife’s as we were happy with the phone,service and deal. I was declined even though I am a existing customer with again no bad credit history, good salary, mortgage no credit card debts etc, confused and annoyed I was told to come back and try again in 30 days after this application had expired. So today I tried again and guess what , I was declined again!! Again no reason given, I have no financial issues whatsoever and stress I am a existing customer with my wife’s new phone with an option

Order number but no confirmation

Hello, I recently upgraded and got an email with my order number saying the order is being processed and that I will receive a confirmation. I have not yet received this though it has been over 24 hours.  The penny I have to pay for this has also not left my bank account. Is it possible to find out if my upgrade has gone through or if I should re-order?  Thanks,Sarah

unused sim card

I have received a sim card over a year ago, I never registered it but I have been paying the monthly contract charge. It was my intention to use the card, but at the time of receiving the card, major issues arose that I had to deal with which took over my time. I forgot I had the sim card until receiving this  n e.mail yesterday. I cannot find the sim card, I have lost it. Can I cancel the monthly payments that I am making  and cancel the card please?

Charged for calls not made

On 5 April I received two very short calls from a  number I did not recognize. I did not answer these calls. My next bill showed that I had been charged a total of £4.90 for two calls made to this number. These two calls overlapped in time. A search of the Internet suggested that the calls came from Samoa. Clearly someone had hacked into the ID phone system. What action will ID Mobile take to prevent this happening again? What action do I need to take to receive a refund for these charges?

Hi i’m new to id mobile (2 weeks in to my contract) my direct debit was due on 14th Feb and i just checked my billing today says ‘Payment Received, thank you… Does that mean payment has been received or does it mean they have put in for the dd to come out of my bank?Thank you for any replies.

Unlocking old iPhone phone for family member

i had an iphone 6s on contract with ID which i have since upgraded (still on ID...and due to upgrade again at end of year ! ).  I would like to give the old iphone 6s to a younger family member who has a Sim card from another network. Is it please possible to unlock it, so that they can use it.? The code for the phone is REMOVED any questions,  my email is REMOVED  Many thanks Andy

Sim not delivered

I ordered my sim on 18 Jan and received an email that it’s been dispatched on 19 Jan. I still haven’t received it. I have also received an email that the DD has been set up but I still haven’t received my SIM card.  The chat agents were very unhelpful and unable to give me any information.

Do all iD Mobile Pay as you go sim cards come with 5G and wifi calling as standard on the £6 and £8 sims or are these features for pay monthly customers only? I have a compatible phone Already.

I tried to call a French landline number today using my id sim monthly account. I have over 1100 minutes available to me but I received an automated message stating that I had reached my limit. Has id changed their eu calling and roaming deal?

Received this text message today. I think it is spam as I have checked and my bill has been paid. Can anyone confirm this is spam and where to report this? Phone Number not transferred

Requested on the 14th August for my old number to be transferred to my ID sim was told it would be done by the 17th August but its the 18th and its still not done.Can someone help me regarding this. I’m a new customer and I’ve had to contact ID mobile on 4 different occasions already. Not a good start...

Poor network coverage at home

I have recently joined ID but since then I am getting very poor coverage at home. Signal strength is only one bar and very rarely it goes to double bar.  Is this the quality of coverage I should expect going forward? If so I will be forced ro choose other network.

Poor Download Speed / slow 4G

Hi everyone. I’m not all that familiar with mobile data.  I have an ID mobile sim and my wife has a virgin mobile sim. Using fast.com, my average download speed is ~1 Mb and my wife’s is ~12 Mb in the same location (home).  Is this simply due to virgin mobile having better signal at our home? I would like to stay with ID if I can, but might need to change to virgin mobile if this slow performance persists. (We currently don’t have broadband, so are reliant on phone sim for internet connection) Thanks for any help/advice.
