issue with order

ID Mobile have switched me from Vodafone so the old Sim doesn’t work, but haven’t sent the new one out, so no phone. I can’t register as I can’t receive a text off them. This isn’t going well

Roaming from outside of band 1 and band 2

I’m confused, if I am not in any of the named countries be it band 1 or band 2, am I allowed to switch on data roaming if I have say 10gb of data in my allowances left without incurring any further costs. I’m in Cape Verde, not on any of the two lists. Is it correct that once my 10gb has been used I will then have to pay the extra charges? Thank you.

New App changed plan

I've updated the new ID app and my plan is now showing 500 mins and 5000 texts whereas my plan was unlimited mins and texts.

New 25gb sim only contract

Hi, I’m trying to buy an ID Mobile 30-day rolling sim only plan which I saw on Uswitch: 25gb/£7pm. When it took me to the checkout on the ID Mobile website it says that I will be paying £10 pm after 6 months. Is this a mistake or something as it did not mention this anywhere else?Would I be able to haggle to keep the price at £7 when it reaches 6 months?Thanks in advance

Signal

Hi,I signed up to ID mobile last week. My signal has been terrible. I’m not able to send iMessages when out at work  I can’t access the internet either  I have an app for work on my phone to book on and off and this is taking forever to do, when I had no issues with my other provider  Am I still within the 14 day cooling off period because I am seriously thinking if moving to another provider Thanks any advice welcomed

is the network down?

Hi, I was cut off today but I paid my bill and said it would be on within 30 minutes, however an hour and a half later it’s still off. I can’t make phone calls or text and data is off too, restarted my phone to see if that would help but it didn’t.

Swap sim from iphone to ipad?

I’ve got a pay monthly sim with IDMobile which I have in a second iPhone. I’ve just ordered an ipad with cellular coverage - can I use this SIM card in my iPad instead? I know I can’t make voice calls etc but just for internet connectivity.Many thanks

Apple tv code

Hi, I followed the link in the email for 3 months free Apple TV, and followed the instructions (logged in to apple, agreed that I will be billed if I don’t cancel by 3 months, etc). I’ve ended up on an apple site that is asking for a code to redeem the offer. Is this right? Where will I find a code? Thank you! ( ps. I’ve tried doing this on an android phone, and also a windows laptop)

No push notifications

I use an iD mobile sim in an android phone tethered via USB to an Asus router for my home Internet connection. I've been using a Samsung Galaxy S9 for the past few months with no issues. However, I got a Galaxy A22 5G on Tuesday and swapped the sim into this phone, and connected this to my router. The A22 had been factory reset, and had a firmware update via WiFi before putting the sim in. It had a "Configuration settings" update message not long after the sim went in, and I'd connected it to the router. After this, none of the phones connected to my WiFi get push notifications until the phone WiFi is turned off, and mobile data is used (all on iD mobile too). I've swapped the sim back into the S9, and connected this to the router again, but still no push notifications. Any thoughts???

Unable to make calls! 😤 Monday 19th February 2024

Hello all yes It's me yet again I've been under the weather and aware of issues on IDMobile. As of today Monday 19th February 2024 I'm unable to make calls.When I make a call I'll get all the regular announcements broadcast from, The number is not recognised, You've dialed an invalid number etc etc.Since the real major outage a few weeks ago I've had limited services as I may not have fast data speed to no data or call. While in Colchester early today I had lost the ability to make calls. Back in North London Barnet and Enfield I'm also unable to make calls and it's now 4.30 PM. I did manage to make two calls to two different networks but it has since gone back to unable to make calls.Sunday afternoon I had slow 4G speed and at some point it reverted back to max 5G.Past week and again today I checked network status. Always states Our system hasn't reported any network issues like wise with Three 😉.At least I have my mobile data 😇 for now

I know this was an issue a couple years ago. But now on hold for hospital appointment and this keeps happening.”Sorry, your service does not allow access to this number” Being disconnected while on a hospital wait list isn’t good. Anything I need to do?

Unfortunately we have lost a sim and coincidentally access to the listed email address. How can we activate the replacement sim (which I have collected from Currys)?

I don’t have any transaction numbers. And nothing beginning with a 4. I have my PAC code. Just joined ID but desperate to change back to old number. Any ideas please.

help regarding sms and imessage on iphone 14

Hi. I have an iPhone 14 and my number has just transferred to ID mobile a day later than it should have been but I am now on ID mobile.  however, when I try to send a text message, the phone says the message has not sent despite the recipient receiving the text. iMessage also does not work at all. I’ve checked and it’s turned on and I am signed in.  please help.

Claiming cashback

When I signed up in September the deal was to be able to claim casback on certain months.It says on the instructions to go to my account and select the cashback option.I cant find any cashback option in my account so could you please check and provide more information.RegardsAlan Docherty

Live chat not working

How do you actually use the live chat. Everytime I go on to the page it shows I'm not logged in and then the live chat service is not showing.  I need to speak to someone. This no call centre is ridiculous!

4g Signal Extremely Slow

Morning. I switched to ID from Plusnet (Now EE) about a month ago. The internet speed is legitimately unusable. The majority of the time, as the data rates are so low, websites and services such as speedtests will simply time out. I bought the mid-tier data plan, but at the current 4g data speeds I wouldn’t even be able to use all of the low-tier data plan if I left the phone on and consuming data 24/7 for the entire month.I’ve added screenshots of my current data rates, when I can get speedtests to work, which isn’t too often.Any ideas on resolution? I already factory reset the phone, as it wasn’t picking up my new number at first. Tried using the sim in other phones too, but it’s still useless. My partner has an ID sim too and her’s is the same. Coverage of my area is indicated as good, and it’s not that I don’t have signal, it’s just unusably slow. I’d rather not go through the headache of switching providers all over again when I just switched, but I'm not sure what else I can do a

Terminate contract within 14 day cooling off period

Hi, I’ve set up direct debit for a sim only plan and was sent my sim. Within that period I was offered a better deal with my existing provider. What’s the quickest way to cancel my ID mobile contract within 14 days cooling off period? I haven’t even activated the Mobile ID sim.

APN settings for Android phone CUBOT NOTE 9

I hope someone can help I have a cubot note 9 I'm on the isle of Man I have normal calls use but cannot connect to mobile data all the usual toggles are on but nothing,so my last check are the APN settings I put my phone in the ID check settings but it did not recognise the phone can anyone help me with these settingsMany thanks  Trevor

Re-activating SIM card after switching it off

Hi,I have de-activated my ID SIM card when I went aborad (outside EU) to avoid roaming charges.Once back in the UK I have tried to re-activate it but I have not been successfull.I have a MOTO G32 phone.When I go in the SIM Cards menu, I have SIM SLOt 1 - ID Mobile Inactive.  I toggle the button to activate it but nothing changes.In the Network settings, there is an entry that says “Mobile Network - Tap to activate ID mobile”.  I tap it but nothing changes.The strange thing is that:I put my wife’s ID mobile SIM into my phone and it all works well I put my ID mobile SIM into my wife’s phone and it all works wellIf I put both SIMs in the phone, only my wife’s SIM appears as activeIt is only when I put my SIM in my phone that it goes wrong.I have reset the Mobile set up and the baseband settings.  I have not done a full factory reset because I am trying to avoid going through the whole reset and reload apps process.Any help is appreciated.Thank you
