Mobile app won’t accept I’m not using new sim!

Upgraded my sim only and was sent a sim for me not to use 😕 Now the the mobile app asks whether I’m using my new sim every time but won’t let me go back to the app when I ask it to, having told it I’m not using the new one yet. Help!
