Voicemail pin

I have 2 voicemails in my text box. I have not used it before. Call the number to be asked to enter a pin. I do not know a pin so request new one. New one arrives by text so enter that to be told it is incorrect and to enter phone number. Do that and asked to enter pin again. Get told again it's incorrect. Caught in a loop. Help required please.
