No Sim

I've just installed an update to my Samsung a52s 5g and upon restart the phone is now saying No sim!If i go to the sim manager it simply says unknown sim unknown number but will recognise the number if on wifi. I've tried all the no sim tricks (restart, clear cache, airplane mode) short of a factory reset and nothing has worked, the sim works fine if put into my old handset so i'm not sure where to go from here.
