thinking of joining IDMobile

hi all.i am a three network customer already but as my contract is about to end, the options offered to me by three are not really suitable. if i decide to join IDMobile: can i keep my number on a sim only deal?will i actually need to change sim?is the sim only contract monthly of 12 monthly with IDMobile?will i be informed by email of any replies? MTIA

windows phones and iDmobile

new here guys so first to say hi to everyone. i am enquiring for a friend. he has a windows phone and, never having had one myself, forgive my ignorance but wondered if an iD sim card will fit into the phone and work without issue? if not, i assume getting a cheap Android phone will be the next option. anyone able to advise me, please? many TIA
