Issues with both the mobile app (biometrics) and Web based laptop access

Since the software changeover, I’m having major issues with both the mobile app and the web based laptop access.The mobile app asks me if I want biometric login enabled - but if I try to log in with a fingerprint I get an inane ‘Oops something has gone wrong’ (who designs this stuff? ‘Oops’ really?) message. If I then login using a password, I can at least log in, but if I then try to turn on biometrics from my account, I get the same inane ‘Oops’ message). Using Android 14 on Samsung Galaxy A14. If I try to login from my laptop, it’s completely hit and miss. This morning I get a ‘Let’s Get Started’ message, followed by the email and password (with captcha) login route - but it goes nowhere. It just loops then on ‘Let’s get started’ over and over again OR I get a blank screen. I’ve cleared data/cache and retried - still with no joy. Using Firefox 124.0.2 on Fedora 38.Any idea when this will be fixed?

Just had android update and SIM locked - need PUK

After an android update tonight, the phone refused to accept my pin (although it accepts the phone on the restart or shut down option) and after three attempts has locked my phone. Can you provide a PUK? Thanks.

Database accuracy.....?

I have tried to phone on 7777 and live chat - both are busy. I received a letter this morning addressed to a certain 'Amanda Coe' with my full address. There is no one at this address by that name. The letter goes on to talk about a complaint raised with yourselves by Amanda in November 2018 with regard to additional charges on the account. The issue ref that is quoted in the letter is 102507607. The letter goes on to say that you have tried contacting Amand on her mobile - and then quotes my mobile number. So you appear to have my account (you have my address and my mobile number) confused with a person called Amanda Coe - although the letter is signed by someone 'pp'd' as Miss Amanda Coe ... so have you confused who wrote the letter with the recipient? I personally don't recall opening an issue with yourselves in November 2018 - and have checked my bills around that date and they all appear to be for just the standard charge - no additonal charges anyway. SMS Text to BT landline - II - The fun sequel

I am re-posting under this heading as I have just received a letter (headed Dixons Carphone) - a scan is available if anyone wishes to see it - telling me that the issue with texts not being delivered as text on BT landlines is BT's problem. Really?! The humour is also in the fact that the letter is from Dixons Carphone - and apart from being a badly worded edit of an obvious template - is apparently pp'd by me. Please see the 'Ask A Question' thread under the heading 'Database Accuracy.....?' - to see why I see humour in this. It would make me smile if the lack of control and management wasn't so obviously poor.

SMS Text to BT landline

I can text from mobile to mobile ok and from BT landline to mobile. But if I text my landline from my mobile it is always being delivered via voicemail not text. Has anyone else had the same problem? Or is anyone out there using BT text and it works fine for them?
