SIM not supported

Hi Just had delivery of my sim and I am trying to set up my Iphone6 and I get the message that the SIM is not supported. Can anyone help please

I am looking to buy a sim only but do not want to keep my number

Hi I cannot see a topic about getting a telephone number when I purchase a sim, it only mentions about keeping you current number which I do not want to do Any help appreciated
