unable to change plan

Hello, I have recently changed my plan and bought a new one and the confirmation mentioned that it would apply to my current sim. I changed plans through the ID app and I received email confirmation. However I have loaded up the billing section and it keeps showing the current plan unchanged. I also contacted via live chat but there is a problem and I can’t get through to anyone. Please help as my bill is due in a few days and I’ve even received an email receipt of my new plan but the billing section still shows the old plan! Please advise.

Unlimited plan, overcharged.

Currently on the 15£ monthly unlimited plan for approaching a year, suddenly this month I was over charged. The monthly recurring charge in the PDF bill now shows £15.38 and then underneath I’ve been overcharged an extra 20% VAT. It’s an unlimited plan, I am not roaming. I am in the UK, why was I overcharged for no reason and why is there suddenly an extra 20% being taken without my consent? This is theft. I’ve already checked the PDF bill and there is nothing that should’ve incurred any extra charge since I’m on unlimited plan. Moreover the invoice breakdown shows the total cost to be £0.00.

I cannot cancel the contract anywhere in the app or online and the live chat does not work! I need to cancel this contract as soon as possible!!

Charged twice for one month

Can I get some help with this please as this is getting a bit ridiculous  . I was told last month that my December’s payment would not be taken as I was charged twice for the month of November. In previous threads the support reps after much discussion claimed how I would not be charged for December as they received two payments in November, however, upon checking my bank I can see ID has of course taken a payment on December 31st . I don’t know why this was taken and need assistance asap.

upgrade my plan to two year contract instead of one

I am currently on the 1 year contract £16 per month unlimited everything contract and I am passed the six month wait time before I am allowed to upgrade my plan but when I check the app and click on “change my plan” it comes up with an error saying there are no plans available even though I would like to change the contract length from 1 year to 2 years and pay £15 per month instead of £16 as with the current 1 year contract.

charged twice for one month

Hi the app displayed in red “bill is due” a few days ago for the month of November so I was wondering why this was happening resulting in me manually paying the due amount a few days ago. Today I open the app and I’m told that another same amount was taken for the month of November and my bank has been overdrawn as I was not expecting another payment until December. This is clearly an error as I’ve been charged twice for the same month. I need help with this as soon as possible.

Urgent help! Unable to contact anyone from iDMobile!

I need to cancel a contract as I am within the 14 day grace period and no fees will apply but I can’t get into contact through live chat because the button does not work. I need to cancel asap within the 14 day cancellation period so that no fees will be applied please - it is a 1 year contract. It has been 7 days since I put the purchase in and the sim has arrived, however, despite the coverage in my area showing it is fully covered on 4G my network speeds are inadequite and I need to cancel asap.

Spotify not working on iDmobile network

Is there a reason why iDMobile network is blocking Spotify access? I’m on an unlimited plan and the site just won’t load all other sites load fine. If I switch to WiFi Spotify loads fine which means that IDMobile is blocking any connections to Spotify, what is going on?

Unable to access Live Chat

It seems the only way to make account changes is to open a live chat but I’ve tried to load Live chat via “https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat” in Chrome, the button doesn’t work. I tried it in Firefox, the button doesn’t respond. I tried in Tor browser, the button doesn’t respond. I tried in Microsoft edge browser, the button doesn’t respond. I finally tried the old deprecated Internet explorer browser and clicking the button opens a chat bar but it says “Connection unavailable”. It seems if I wanted to cancel or make any changes it won’t load. I need immediate help with this as something like cancelling an account and stopping payments shouldn’t be this problematic, at this point this is near theft!

Sim nowhere to be seen, payment taken and plan started!

I purchased a contract last week and the ID Mobile team were happy enough to send me an email stating “we are pleased to inform you that your direct debit standing order has been set up”, and that my plan had started with each passing day I am unable to use what I’ve paid for because the SIM card hasn’t even arrived yet? No tracking code was provided, no nothing. My money was taken and a standing order was set up and I haven’t even got anything, no sim, no nothing. I need help!

Cancelling a contract which hasn't arrived yet

Hi, I recently ordered a 12 month sim contract which I want to cancel. I originally ordered it due to having issues with my WiFi connection but I’ve recently fixed my WiFi and so don’t need the sim at the moment. The Sim is still in delivery and hasn’t arrived yet, I would like to keep the sim in case I wish to purchase a contract in future I wouldn’t have to wait for a new sim to arrive but I would like to cancel the current 12 month plan which has started (even though the sim isn’t here yet). Live chat is closed at the moment as the offices are closed at this hour, is there anyway to cancel it ? In terms of early cancellation there should not be any cancellation fees as I believe there is a cooling off period/14 day grace period from the start of the contract to cancel without incurring any fees, I read this on the iDMobile site.

Using hotspot VPN?

I know there are extra costs associated with using data whilst roaming but this should not apply when using a VPN to connect to a different country server surely? I just ordered my data sim and plan to open a hotspot to use internet on my laptop which will be connecting to VPN services via OpenVPN. Does anyone know if this will be fine and no extra charges will be incurred to my unlimited data plan?

Request Rejected? ID Mobile blocking my Wifi IP right after I purchase a monthly contract?!

Hello, I purchased a 12 month contract last night. This morning I try to access the IDMobile site at which point I keep getting the error“The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator.Your support ID is: 1994886947437139797” I’m not sure why this has happened could someone help with this please.
