switching SIM only to payg

I've seen a couple of people asking about switching (downgrading) their rolling monthly SIM plans to PAYG and being told that this wasn't possible whilst staying with ID. Both of these posts were from more than 2 years ago so I'm just wanting to see if this is still the case, as it seems ridiculous to me that a company wouldn't want to keep customers, even if they are a little less profitable. Especially as ID do have a PAYG product. Thanks, Erik.

Getting an invoice - why so difficult?

I upgraded recently and chose an S22 Ultra based on the very generous Samsung cashback offer ('20 Days of Christmas'). Sales staff were lovely and said if I didn't get a receipt chase it up with CS. After 2 hours trying to get help from CS live chat, who kept claiming you can print a receipt from the app (you can't), I finally found a helpful CS agent who said one should come at a certain date. I also emailed the docs department to try to get it sooner. Why isn't an invoice provided with the purchase? Can you rely on an invoice arriving in due course?

all incoming calls are unknown - fairphone 3+

About a month ago all my incoming calls through the normal phone line are coming through as unknown. Why is this? I think it has happened before and sorted itself out, but it has been going on a whole now

i have lost my phone insurance asking Proof of Usage (mobiles / SIM devices only)

I have lost phone few days ago and i now my insurance asking me. following evidence.proof of blacklisting mobile sim devices only, written confirmation.since ID does not have someone to talk on a phone, i have blocked the sim online and also reported automated service.Proof of usage mobile sim devices only, proof of usage include device make, model and IMEI Numberand the first and last date device used.can someone help me please?

Haven't received £100 currys voucher, told to speak with currys who then told me to ask ID Mobile...

I purchased a google pixel 7 on 22nd november as part of the black friday promotion, but haven’t received my £100 gift voucher. I spoke to an assistant online who told me to speak with currys as they issue the vouchers. I contacted currys and they told me to speak with ID Mobile….I was hoping to use this voucher for people’s christmas gifts, but I can’t see it coming in time, if at all!

Non receipt of one time codes for a vulnerable customer

I am no longer receiving one time codes when shopping online.  My building society have advised I need to speak with my telephone network provider, as the issue is showing that my telephone number isn’t registered with you, causing a network problem. As a result, you have received reports stating an ‘unknown subscriber’.  They have also advised:  For clarity, we’ve sent the appropriate data to your phone network, and if this was successful, they’d provide a delivery receipt to us, to confirm they’ve received this and sent the appropriate message to you. Your network provider has sent us a confirmation of a ‘no network assignment’ for your mobile number. I have been dealing with Lauren via your Facebook page this week but the matter is still not resolved. Yesterday evening I was asked to duplicate the issues I have been experiencing and was asked 'Would you be able to request an OTP text, and then let us know the date and time that the request was sent? Porting in form issue

Hi there,I am struggling with the form to transfer my existing number from 3 to my new account. I have filled it in correctly, as far as I can tell, but it’s not proceeding. It comes up with the following message “ We’ve tried to process your PAC but there is an issue with the information you’ve submitted. Please check that you have provided the correct details and try again”. I have tried three times and checked all the information is correct.

Pixel 7 Additional £100 Trade In Value

I completed my upgrade to a pixel 7 and traded in my phone within the dates on the terms and conditions and have also received the trade-in value for the phone which appeared in my bank account on he 21st Nov.However, i still have not received the additional £100 that was part of the promotion. Same mobile numbers active on ID Mobile and BT 2 days after porting

Hi, I bought two new ID Mobile handsets and SIMs on pay monthly contracts, but needed to maintain the mobile numbers with BT. So I used the provided PAC numbers from BT and ported my mobile numbers across. This happened on Friday. I can now make calls from my new ID Mpbile handsets and SIMs and it shows the correctly ported Mobile numbers when calling my landline. However, the same numbers are still active on BT 2 days later. How can this be? If I call from one ID Mobile phone, the other ID Mobile receives the call. If I call from the BT phone, the other BT phone receives the call. Please can you tell BT to cancel my numbers and contracts… as I’m now paying twice for the same number and have no idea which phone might receive a call when someone else calls me (i.e. from O2 or VF).

Unable to receive calls/texts after porting from Vodafone to iD

I can make calls and send texts but not receive calls or texts from networks other than iD  When other networks try to call me, they just hear 3 beeps then it is disconnected I have a Google pixel 6a Chat features is connected and showing the correct number  iD have confirmed that the port was successful I have tried a new sim sent by iD and it is activated I have tried resetting my network I have tried restarting the phone I have good coverage in my area (hence I can make calls fine, but not receive them)But no luck! Please help, I have read many other posts with exactly the same issue but none have resolved it.

Error with data usage

HelloWould you please call me on my mobile. i have just signed up with ID mobile and after only 2 days it says I have used 18GB of my 20GB montly allowance. My phone has the black screen of death! Can I recieve a PAC code via email?

I have a bit of a complicated issue in that my 24-month contract is up in early December so I was looking to see if I could get a PAC code however the only option I can see is to receive one via phone text. The problem here is that my phone currently has the black screen of death as of today’s date - I can’t turn my phone back on! How do I get around this if I want to switch to a new contract? Is there an email option?

no number attached to phone

Originally received phone and came with No sim have since received sim but there is no phone number attached to this phone so I'm unable to activate sim so I need a phone number attached to phone,I now have a pac code as I wish to transfer my wife's number to this phone.i went to currys today and they was also unable to find phone number for phone and said it has not got one.Regards mike

Should I wait till my Ugrade date or take a Black Friday deal?

My end of contract date is less than a month, but have no idea what my upgrade options will be? Obviously there's some decent black Friday deals on the Pixel 7 pro, so should I hold out and then get no real upgrade options or pull the trigger now and take advantage of the deals? Anyone have any idea on IDs retention offers on upgrades at the end of your contract???

internet service has stopped

I have been travelling in Europe for a while and my internet service has just stopped. I have tried paying for an add-on and increasing my allowances. Neither has given me service. I tried the chat service, but the button never appears for me to actually start chatting, so I’m unable to ask for help.can anyone give me advice?

Where is my PAC code

Joined IDmobile over a week ago.  I ported in my phone number. porting in was not easy, the system didn't accept the pac code.   IDmobile is not for me and I chose to leave under the 14 day policy to come out of the contract.  I have had no end of problems with asking for a PAC code. yesterday trough the only option available I spoke with someone who explained the process and followed it up with long text instructions on what is to happen.  essentially they said I have to cancel the contract then request a pac code.  if I were to ask for a pac code first I would be charged £117 cancelation fee.    I went ahead after being assuredly number would be safe.NOT SO!  they said they had texted me the pac code and within 10 mins my contract will revert to pay as you go.  IT DID.  seemingly wiping out any access to my previous account and the opportunity to request a PAC code.the issued pac code has yet to arrive.  Again through torturous chats I have been told they will look into any technical

fraud suspected?

I recently ordered a phone for my wife, which has arrived today. i then tried to order a phone for my son. my order has been declined based on a credit check. This cannot be based on my actual credit rating. I believe this to be a case of the system deciding that the application may be fraudulent because of the previous order. How do I overcome this issue?
