'Invalid Number' when tryng to call one specific number

Hi, I can see this question has been asked before but I can’t see the answer as it was in a ‘pm’!I normally phone my sister in law fine, but in the last couple of days when trying to call I immediately recieve an ‘invalid number’ message. The number is not invalid and can in fact be called from any other handset or landline. I’ve deleted and re-entered the contact, she can call me ok and I’ve also tried saving her as a ‘new contact’ but nothing works - almost as if the network has blocked outgoing calls to this specific number.What’s going on?! - it’s actually a pretty important call as her mother is 86 and infirm and we need to organise support etc.Thanks

unable to make calls due to bill cap limit

Hi please can someone help me urgently. I am unable to make calls from my phone, despite having paid my bill by direct debit already. I have set my cap limit to £10 more than my bill is and I still cannot call a landline. please help

extras 60 minutes monthly calls to usa

I have a new plan unlimited phone and texts with 60 minutes per month so n calls to USA. Which is why I took the plan. 3 months in and finally able to call USA when I added £5. Made a few calls and am being charged from my £5??? How to activate “free” 60 minutes?

Trouble roaming in Spain after being in a country where i had roaming off

Hi All,  I have recently been in the Caribbean and deliberately had data roaming turned off as i knew it was not a roam free destination. Our travel back was via Spain, so i turned back on the data roaming and no matter what i tried it would not work. Spain is supposed to be one of the countries that we can roam for free using our tariff limits. I had set the extra charges cap to a higher amount and i was no where near that. It was so frustrating!When i got back to the uk all was well again.  Can anyone shed any light on why this would be the case? My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S21.Many thanks!

No Internet Roaming in France.

Hi Guys,I bought a TP-Link MiFi unit to use in our Motorhome whilst in France. I set it up with an ID SIM card before we left. Unlimited minutes and a txt and the key thing, 50GB of data. It was working fine in UK but now we are in France it says no internet connection. The TP-Link is showing it’s linked to the three network, there are 2 bars of signal and it’s setup for roaming. it not not a network issue because my mobile is on a three sim and connected to the network with data at the same location.  any ideas welcome. Thanks.

Changed plan but still charged old plans rate

I wonder if anyone can advise me on this. I changed my phone plan at the end of March after having had my plan for two years and finishing my contract. I switched to a SIM only plan that is £30 cheaper. My iD app told me my next charge would be mid May at the new rate, missing out April completely for some reason. Come mid April I get charged which I wasn’t expecting, and it charges me at my old rate, the £30 more expensive rate. I figured I’d perhaps understood things wrong and left it. Now I checked again today and my iD app says I’m £30 in credit from that overpayment and my next payment is due mid June for the lower rate (again missing out a whole month for some reason). But now I’ve just had an email from iD telling me my monthly charge of the higher rate is due again mid May. What’s going on?? Why am I still paying my old plan rate? Why is my iD app telling me my payments aren’t due til June but an email tells me it’s due in May? I’ve no idea what I’m paying or when any more or w

change of plan

Today I changed my plan on sim only yet I get messages saying my sim will be posted via DPD. I’ve only changed my sim plan and want to keep my number so why ID do I need to go through this totally nonsense. All you need to do is update my account on your computer, is it that difficult?

number not fully ported

Hi, number ported a week or so ago, been sending WhatsApp, ring I got people and texting on a huwawei fine. Until I text one of my contacts and my imported number came up on his phone. But when I rang him he got the ported old/correct number. There are some contacts getting the correct ported number on text. But others getting my iD number which I don’t want. Help please!! huwawei phone.

After brining my old number over. There are at least 2 numbers from which I am not receiving SMS messages. But some are fine

My old number seems to have transferred but when I make an outgoing call or text, a different number appears, so people do not know it is me texting or calling?

Wrong Number in imessages since porting to ID

I ported my number from O2 this morning and phone is working. However, the number in iMessages is still showing as the old ID number and I haven’t received family texts that were sent to my ported number.I’ve tried the suggestions in this community about switching off messages, removing SIM, waiting 15 mins, turning phone off etc…. but it’s still not working.For the last 30 mins since I turned imessages back on it’s saying  ”Waiting for activation….”Facetime is also showing wrong number and has spinning timer next to number. Any suggestions on how I can resolve this ?

lost mobile number

I took out a contact with iD mobile and used an EE SIM card in the phone. I no longer have access to the SIM card or know the number to it. I am unable to log into my account or do anything until I have this and there seems to be no number to call to be able to speak to anyone?

SCAM alert 0207 139 1398

Do not call 020 7139 1398 as this is a scam.  I am in the process of bank investigations for being scammed on this number last night and iD have told me today that this number is nothing to do with them.  I had upgraded online and received an email asking me to contact them on the above number for an update. Do not fall for this as it is a scam.  Number has been passed to the police too. I am going through the most distressing time because I fell for calling this number and would hate for someone else to have to experience this anxiety and trauma. iD did not seem very concerned that their systems are being hacked to get their customers information so this worries me too!  Also why have you not picked up that this number is being given out on this forum to your customers asking for help by someone called andewhite

I joined recently with 12gb data, now my first bill has been generated and i realised my new allowance is 7gb. Why has it been lowered if my monthly cost is the same? Thank you

OTP texts and calls not coming through from Halifax

Same issue as all the others - no OTP texts or calls coming through from Halifax. From the community forum I can see that this has been an issue for a huge number of people for a long period of time, so it is unclear why ID Mobile have not instigated a permanent fix for this issue long ago. I need this to be resolved ASAP as I am currently unable to access my online banking. How has this been resolved for other users? I can confirm my bank has the correct mobile number. All regular texts and calls are coming through fine. ID need to fix this issue with their service provision immediately, going by how many people have been affected to date.

Very poor signal

Hi, my area is SY23. I'm using ID since one year and a half, never had the best signal but it was acceptable. Since 2 months signals get really poor, so often no connection at all.As an example I can send and receive WhatsApp messages but I can't send or receive photos, I can't make a video call. I can't watch Instagram stories, you tube videos. I can't listen Spotify. I need to use card reader for my work over my mobile connection, most of the time I have problems. I'm not even talking about watching stream channels.I know ID is of the cheapest options but if that means such poor signal it doesn't worth it at all.Even though it shows full connection, can't able to open a simple google page. (photo attached)  Everytime I swith off and on the mobile connection or the device but that doesn't work. This is really getting annoying. Any advice is appreciated.Thanks

Changing plan

Hello!I moved to ID Mobile on April 8th on a SIM-only monthly contract and chose the unlimited data plan. Am I right in thinking that I have to stick with this plan for 2 months until I can change to a different/cheaper one? My current billing period is 9th April to 7th May. When will I be able to request to change contract on the app?Thanks!
