“Sorry your service does not allow access to this number”

Hi there Twice today on outbound calls I have had the automated message “sorry your service does not allow access to this number”.  The outbound call was to a 3 number. First time it was immediate and cut off. I redialled and was on the call for approx 7 mins then the message played and cut the call off.  I see this has been raised before and resolved but possibly a repeat issue?Thanks,

cant receive calls or texts

I just moved to ID mobile. My phone worked fine. Then I ported over my old number. Since then I can make calls and texts but i can't receive them. Phone is a Samsung Galaxy A10

Cancellation within 14 day window when number has been ported in

Can anyone confirm the cancellation process for someone that has already ported their number in from another network, if I am in the 14 day window? I am speaking to someone on live chat to arrange a return and some of the comments I’ve received make absolutely no sense - it’s like they have no idea what they’re talking about!For example,Thank you for providing your mobile number. Could you kindly confirm with a "yes" or "no", if you know your customer service pin? Please refrain from submitting the PIN on this chat without the supported form. No Thank you for sharing can you please try and reset the password so that I can give you a new code. With regards to your bank you will have to go to the bank and enquire with them as who have hacked your account because this verification code its for your iD app and not for your banks.  ‘hacked your account’!?? What are they smoking over there in ID HQ!? No one has hacked my account, the person seems very confused. When I asked what happens

Historical Call Log

I had an ID Mobile contract and now need to find out what numbers I called on 10th February 2017. I moved from ID Mobile to Vodaphone and from them to Plusnet so no longer have an account. As this is a legal situation is there any way that I can find out the numbers I called on that specific date? I cannot say how helpful any assistance anyone can give me would be appreciated. Carole

Mobile data suddenly not working - Samsung Galaxy S6

I know there are similar questions on here but literally none of the answers have fixed the problem. I’ve had this ID account for years, and today randomly my data just stopped working this morning. I’m turning it on and there’s no 4G (or 2G or whatever) appearing in the corner of my phone like it used to, and I’m not getting any internet unless I’m on WiFi, even when I have four bars of signal and in areas I know it usually works. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 and I’m within my data limit for this month (1.2GB left of 4.3GB). Everything else, including calls and texts, is working fine. I’ve tried:Turning on and off “Hard” resetting (not factory reset, which is not really an option for me because I’ve been using this phone for years) Forgetting and reconnecting to my network operator Resetting APN to default Changing my network mode (I only have LTE/3G/2G, 3G/2G, 3G only and 2G only available and I’ve tried all of them)Please help!! I don’t know what to do and I commute for three hours a

ONE CONTACT I AM UNABLE TO RECEIVE TEXTS FROM

I have contacts on my phone whom I can call, receive calls from, text and receive texts from. All except one contact whom I can call, she can return my calls, I can text her, but I am unable to see any of her text messages. I cannot fathom out why!! Any ideas please. Thanking you in anticipation!

Poor signal since joining - 12+ Months

Hi, I was a Vodafone customer before coming to ID and one of the main reasons for coming to ID was because it seemed like a good network, the coverage checkers showed great signal in all the areas I needed it and the contract was a good price. The plan was for a Pixel 2 XL phone 6GB data, unlimited minutes and texts. The signal has never been as good as it was on Vodafone and where I usually got good signal and a good internet connection I now get a mediocre connection and the internet connection quality is really bad. I've been a customer since July 2018 - this has always been a problem but not enough to make me complain, it's become more apparent with a bit more travelling. I just don't believe the connection quality can truly be that bad in the places I have been. My partner on Vodafone never struggles. I went in to a Carphone Warehouse store a couple of months back and one of the members of staff recommended I get a new SIM (I didn't see why this would fix it but worth a shot)

Contract has ended and want to reduce monthly charge

Hi, Firstly I hope you are safe and well. My initial contract with ID Mobile ended some weeks ago and I wish to continue but need to reduce my monthly bill. My initial contract included a handset which would have been factored into the monthly charge I am paying. I am happy and wish to keep the original handset and want to keep the set allowances but just go with SIM only option. I have tried to use the app to manage my plan and find cheaper options (ie SIM only and remove cost of handset which I have already paid for pro rata  etc) but all the offers are more expensive than what I currently pay? Other providers have quoted me cheaper contract but I am happy with the service ID Mobile provide and wish to continue with yourselves, can you please help and advise? Thanks

How to hide my caller ID?

I have a new phone Alcatel 3L 2020 bought from Carphone Warehouse. I need to hide my number on some outgoing calls( used for a well known Charity and their policy to withhold number).When going to additional settings then Caller ID on phone settings ,when I try to select hide  number, a message box  comes up with “unexpected response from network”.Any ideas on how to hide my number?

RPI increase - if i change plan now, will it still apply?

Hello, I've read a few bits on the website about the upcoming RPI increase, which this year is obviously pretty hefty. Through the ID Mobile app, I see that I can upgrade my plan for an additional amount per month that would work out significantly less than my current plan + RPI increase. From what I can gather, it would appear that if I do this (change plan after 1st Feb '23) then the RPI increase would not apply - is anyone able to confirm that this is the case please?Cheers!

Ported in number not changed on system

When I joined ID i ported in my number and everything went well. I am now using the ported in number with no problems. However on my account the old number is still showing many months later. I am now unable to change my plan as the system thinks I am still on the old number (which I presume no longer exists) and gives me an error message. Is there any way the system can update my number to the one I am now using?

PAC code transfer incomplete and no acknowledgment

Hi, I am joining iD for the first time. I submitted my PAC code on Tuesday 31st March and it showed online that the submission had been successful. I have received no text message or communication from iD since and my number has yet to be transferred. Does anyone know why this is taking so long? My PAC code expires from O2 on 15th April. Any help from iD would be gratefully received.

Upgrade Issue

So my iPhone 7 contract has recently ended and today I have tried to upgrade to a Galaxy A71. However, when I got to the order summary page to confirm the order a red text box came up saying that some details were missing. I recently moved house in July and then changed the address on my IDMobile account, to match the address I moved to. Other than that, all the information has stayed the same. I also changed my address registered with the bank to my new address when I moved so I assumed that the IDMobile address and bank address need to be the same in order to upgrade.

phone stopped receiving phone calls while in Spain

I've been with iD since last October and have had no issues. Since last week I have been unable to receive phone calls. I can make them and still send and receive texts. I'm stuck in Spain and have missed important calls from the bank.

Question re: multiple phones

Hello, I have an existing ID account that expires in ~6 months, upgrade due End of Dec. I have today pre ordered the Pixel 7, with a new 24 month contract. My intent is to;wait until my new Pixel 7 arrives, then transfer my number to that phone and send off my old phone for trade in Once my old phone has arrived and I have received the funds, cancel my existing phone, soaking the termination fee (because it’s essentially a net zero due to the bonus £150 from trade ins when purchasing the new pixel My main question is (as well as, please someone tell me if I’ve done something stupid here), in terms of my actual ID accounts, can I merge them or is something weird going to happen? Thank you! Sophie

Sim only switch

Hi there Account number: [Removed]My 24 month contract ended Septermber 24th. I changed to a SIM only package and received a new SIM card. I tried to keep my same number and when directed entered the details to activate my new SIM only to be told it was already activated. Since then I have been charged for both the SIM only and my monthly contract fee is still being taken by direct debit. I assumed my old number would just be transferred and I would have a Sim only contract to replace my 24 month contract, as I didn’t want a new phone.When I login to my IDMobile account, I see that I still have my 24 month contract, which has now been extended until 24th October and it appears that I have started a completely new Sim only contract as well. It’s very important that I keep this number, 07xxxxxx890 which I have had for 20 years.Please advise how to proceed.RegardsDan McLoughlin

NO signal and sim replaced.

I have just joined in the last week, number ported over on Tuesday 17th, made one phone call and now absolutely no signal.  this is day 3 of no signal, went and got a new SIM card as I popped into Currys and was advised no issue in that area(still no signal for me). Changed the sim and still the same and the sim has been activated. FK3 area were they state they are working on a technical issue. Other phones in the home on three and have no issues, phone rebooted etc but still not even one bar and the network not identified in the setting of the phone. Tried another sim in the phone and the network picked up (Lyca). Options or advise please as can’t receive phone calls and messages and waiting for important call !!! Thanks
