Unlimited minutes?

My plan has unlimited minutes. Is there a time limit on individual phone calls? When on a call today I received a message “this call will be charged at 35p per minute”.

Callers hear 'number not recognised' message when they call my mobile

I’ve missed quite a lot of calls recently because my phone hasn’t rung or anything - and my sister tells me that when she tried calling me, my number isn’t recognised! I tested this from my landline, first trying my number with ‘0’ at the front. It told me the number isn’t recognised. So then I tried it with ‘44’ at the beginning instead, and it went straight to ID voice mail.Can you shed any light on why this might be happening and how I fix it, please?Thanks.

No ID Mobile customer service support available

Hi, i have an issue with my service i keep getting disconnected during call and here a message saying “Sorry, your service does not allow access to this number” this also happen randomly when i try to call out too. Also a number of calls failing and people unable to call me.To my extreme frustration i have tried every option on the ID mobile number 7777 and every option leads to the same message directing me to use online chat which is always greyed out and unavailable or to leave a message here which is far from same leave of support available from other providers. i’m disappointed with this service and would like to raise a complaint and discuss my options going forward as i’m regretting leaving O2 for this lack of service.I’m missing important calls and need to speak to an ID Mobile rep asap in private not on a public forum.

random sim not found message

Samsung A40, a couple of months old. Since recently running a softwre upgrade I keep getting these pop ups and very poor connctions. Have rebooted, cleaned sim etc. Ideas please. Can’t call ID for obvious reasons, but cannot also use my phone a third of the time

Cancel account and stop payment

Please can someone contact me urgently regarding account ******. I have been trying to cancel the account FOR MONTHS but cannot get hold of anyone. I was advised to cancel my direct debit as I was still wrongfully being charged. Now I’m receiving “collection campaign” automated messages for a paltry £7 which I cannot pay because I cannot speak to anyone! i cannot log on to the I’d mobile site as I have forgotten my password and cannot apparently reset it without the phone using the iD mobile SIM. That phone has been in storage for months and I cannot get to it at present. Please cancel my account and remove your collection campaign immediately. This is shocking service!

Billing starts before SIM/Phone delivered/activated

I’ve started a new SIM Only contract with ID Mobile making an order online. Obviously there’s a delivery period before the service is available for me to use. However, ID Mobile seems to ignore this gap in service being available to use and starts charging straight away, starting the bill date from the order date. Other networks set this date to be when the SIM is activated. Utility companies start charging when they’ve completely taken over the service. Landline, broadband, TV services start the billing date from when the service is live and available to the customer. With the current coronavirus lockdown, deliveries are further delayed. However, I already have a bill issued, probably at least a week before I even have the SIM. Why is ID Mobile not considering when the service becomes available for the setting of the bill start date? Why isn’t a window period given for a customer to activate their new SIM to set it as the bill start date? This is completely unacceptable and if the b

Unable to switch off call forwarding on iphone

The call forwarding on iphone does not load. Tried Network reset, taken SIM card out and fit back, tried SIM card in another phone to switch off still no joy. Spoken to Apple support who asked me to enter ##002# and ID mobile serever still cannot be seen and I get error message. I have been told that this is ID Mobile setting and they are the only ones who can reset it and thne stop call forwarding. I have proven the issue is not the phone but the ID SIM.

Unable to receive text messages whilst abroad

Why its important: I am unable to receive text messages whilst abroad, especially important confirmation text messages ie from my bank so that I can access my account, or when setting up new apps. Handset/Device: Lenovo K520 Issue Specific: I don’t receive the confirmation codes via text message and am unable to access my apps. Roaming, International and Premium are all switched on and I have unlimited texts on my plan. When?/Where?: I have received texts whilst in the UK, but since using my sim card here in Singapore, I cannot receive any messages. I also cannot send any messages. How can I receive text messages whilst abroad in SIngapore?

Activating WiFi Calling

I recently switched to iD and everything is working perfectly. My husband is now envious of my WiFi calling capabilities and also wants to switch. However, when we put my iD SIM in to his phone it didn't automatically reset and update to the new carrier settings in the same way mine had. We did this test in a location where the signal is good to check his phone wasn't locked. The phone picked up the network and 4G signal worked fine but the option to turn on WiFi calling did not appear in his settings. We both have an Xperia XA2, so I expected the same functionality as I get from my handset. Does anyone know how to get the handset to update to the new carrier settings when switching the SIM?Thanks

Bad signal/not what ID Mobile promised

Since I have been an ID Mobile Customer I ha e had poor signal, extremely poor 2-3 bars I have not had any 4G signal at all all the time i have had the sim, I feel hard done by ID Mobile and feel I was offered a service that I am not receiving is there any rules about offering a great service then getting a very poor one,? I mean I feel as if I should be getting money off my bill as they are not keeping their end of the deal up, I was promised good signal with 4G and I got terrible signal with no 4G what so ever, feel really let down by ID Mobile service I understand they piggy back off of three network but this is for no excuse for terrible signal. If you cannot offer a certain signal you should not advertise it as this is complete false advertising. I would advice that ID Mobile piggy back off another company if three network are not giving them enauth signal like o2 giffgaff and tesco mobile are great signals and they both piggy back off o2, ideally I would like this problem to be r

I've always been slightly paranoid about using Apple pay or wallet even though I think it's a great idea. Are there any risks involved in using it? I've heard stories and always think someone will try and hack it or steal money from it using a fraudulent device.

VoLTE Roaming

Hi, i was just wondering if iD Mobile supported VoLTE whilst roaming. Most, if not all, other networks support this now as it’s needed with the 3G switch off in other countries. I’m going to France in January and would like to know if it will work there or not. USA in June too and will 100% need it then too as they have successfully switched off their 3G services. i know VoLTE works in the UK as i use it day in day out. My phone is supported on VoLTE roaming by all other carriers (iPhone 15).

Issue with porting and file exchange!!

Hi All,just wanted to check if anyone has had the same/similar experience to mine. I have requested to port my number from my previous provider, obtained the PAC code and submitted the form. IDMobile says they are still waiting some file exchange that needs to be submitted by the previous provider. I have contacted them and they said that my number has already been ported out and there’s nothing else left on their side to do. Basically I am now stuck between IDmobile and the previous provider telling me different things and I am not sure what to do.I just need my old number to be ported in ID Mobile and that’s it!!Has any of you experience any issues when porting out/in your old number?Thanks!

Wifi calling on ID

Hi,I'm in the process of moving my number over from Three.At the moment when I am inside my flat I use the WiFi calling feature, as the signal indoor is weak.Can I assume that the WiFi calling would work the same with ID, since it is the same (three) network and same device?Thanks, Julio

unable to send message to short code

Since about a year ago I can no longer send text messages to short codes. Plenty in the bill cap to enable it- nothing is switched on to prevent this yet when I send a text I get the following message back from Id Calls or texts to short codes are chargeable and are not included in your standard allowance or Add-ons. New upgrade and imessage not working, i have signed in to apple id to check the phone number is no longer attached to the other phone and its not. id chat also a waste of time and no one available to chat for hours and when it does connect to someone it cuts off! can anyone please help

Sim Card

I received a new sim card yesterday, popped it in my phone (OPPO A54). I activated it, sent a text to check it worked, all worked fine. This morning no sim card showing in the settings. I provided a PAC code when I ordered the phone to keep my current EE number. Is the sim card disabled till the porting process is complete, or is the sim likely to be faulty? I have already tried all the recommended tasks, reseating and cleaning the sim
