Haven't received a phone and can't get help

I ordered a phone and SIM about 33 hours ago. I am being so specific as they say they should process your order within 24 hours, this hasn't happened. I ordered early yesterday (Monday) and my phone hasn't arrived which goes against their free next day shipping. The problem is my current contract runs out in 2 days and I will be without any SIM. Without an ID phone number, which I obviously do not have yet as I haven't received anything, I don't even seem to be able to do live chat. They say to message DPD but if they haven't dispatched my order, DPD isn't going to know anything so how does that help? Does anyone have any advice on how to contact someone from ID mobile to see whats going on with my order? Their tables showing what day your phone SHOULD arrive aren't proving particularly useful.I am seriously regretting ordering from ID mobile, it is ridiculous to have a company you can't contact when it comes to something like this. Old SIM turned off, iD Mobile SIM still showing new number

Hi,I’ve done the process of inputting my PAC code into the switching webpage on Sunday 14th August.My old sim has now deactivated today.However my new sim is still showing the number supplied by ID, rather than my old number.Please help?Many thanks, Nicole

SIM for USB Dongle

I am moving to an area where fibre broadband is not available so need an alternative. Is it acceptable to use a PAYG SIM in a USB dongle for this purpose (I am in the UK)?I am keen not to break any rules and I already have a PAYG SIM from ID Mobile for my mobile ‘phone, this would be a second SIM.Obviously I would not be able to take calls or read texts to the number.Thanks.

Data Rollover not working

Hello I upgraded my plan a couple of months ago. For the first month the data rollover didn't work, I contacted customer services by phone and they advised that it doesn't work in the first month. I was a little frustrated that this wasn't clear and I lose data rollover by upgrading, but accepted it. However on the 2nd month of the new deal the data didn't roll over either. I understood that all ID plans have data rollover????? Has anyone else had this issue and managed to find a successful resolution? Thanks, Paul.

2G always on (Android)

I understand that iD through the 3 network does not have any 2G network coverage, however I am unable to deactivate the allow 2G option on my device. This is significant as localised 2G transmitters can be set up by hackers trying to gain access to devices, and the 2G connection is far more vulnerable than 3, 4, 5G. Security experts advise turning allow 2G off. Can iD update carrier settings to allow users to disable this please? For reference, I am running Android 14 beta 5.

Port Issue - No Incoming Communication

I have just ported my number from BT and have received the text saying porting is successfully completed. I can now make calls and send texts and the ported number shows on the receiving phone. However when someone tries to phone me they just get the message welcome to BT mobile the person you have called is not available, texts are not coming through either. I have tried restarting the phone and removing and replacing the sim. Can this be resolved?

Poor Sound Quality on Incoming Calls - Samsung Fold 5

I recently upgraded my phone from a Samsung Fold 3 to the new Fold 5, at the same time I also switched my sim only contract from EE to ID Mobile, I always purchase my phones outright from Samsung.The issue I have is that sound quality on incoming calls is hopeless, on outgoing calls I get HD quality and it sounds great, but on incoming calls it sounds like I’m talking on an old Nokia from 2003, this is even when I’m in an area with 5G and have full signal. My current work around is to call people back but when it’s a customer I’m talking to this is embarrassing and it makes me look unprofessional.The phone isn’t the issue as I briefly used it for about a month with my old EE sim and had no problems at all, the poor call quality only started once I’d ported my number over to ID.

Short Code SMS delayed

Hi all, Im finding all SMS short coded texts are delayed by approx 48 hours. These are all 2fa such as PayPal, Ring  Security and Monzo Bank. Obviously this is not great as I am locked out of these accounts.  Has anyone got any ideas on how to resolve?Thanks

My new phone number is a VOIP?

Hey all, so a few months ago I decided to purchase a new phone contract from ID. With my new phone contract I was given a new phone number, but I’m having problems with the number. When trying to secure some of my online accounts I am being denied using my phone number as it’s being identified as being a “VOIP” phone number. I have no idea why this is happening or what a VOIP number is. I’ve been in contact with ID VIA online chat and I’m just being told “We do not provide VOIP numbers you must of signed up for it” but I didn’t. I litterally just took out a new phone contract with them and the number they have given me is being classed as a VOIP. I’m lost where to turn as I can’t secure some of my online accounts. Is there any I can remove this VOIP tag on my number? Thank you.

Is it possible to set up voicemail with the default greeting instead of recording a personalised one? At the moment I cannot access my voicemails without going through the prompts to record a personalised greeting or my name etc.

ID Mobile On Vodafone

Hi, I was wondering if someone could clear up some confusion I have please.I cannot remember exactly when I joined ID Mobile but it was a fair few years ago and still have the same SIM which is on the Vodafone network. I have just found out today that they now use the 3 network and not Vodafone any more. I don’t know when this change occurred but was wondering how this effects me still being on the Vodafone network.Also, is it possible to change my current Vodafone ID mobile SIM over to a 3 one. The reason I ask is that there is absolutely no Vodafone, o2 or EE signal at my house but there is a decent 3 signal so if I can change over it would be a great help. At the moment I have to use WiFi calling when at home. Thanks for any help.

Hi,I am struggling to find a clear list of what numbers are charged for.The page on the ID site is unclear over several number trypes.Do I get charged extra for 0300 or 0317?I had a shock last month when I was charged for 0817, and didn’t expect it.Thanks

voLTE on Pixel 4

Hello, Can someone please advise how to activate / turn on voLTE on the pixel 4. Currently on my phone the option in not in the settings, yet ID have advised they do support. The phone is fully updated and I have followed the online support but the option to toggle this setting is just not there. This is option 5 on the below image.

Capped limit - Incorrect data allowance text

I’ve received a text from ID telling me I’ve reached my capped limit on my bill and as such I don’t have sny remaining data allowance. I’ve checked both in the app and in the webpage and in both places it says I still have 1.2Gb, and my expected bill is still on my normal monthly rate, how is that possible?

Force 5G on Pixel 7 Pro

Hey,To give some context, 5G and 4G both work on my phone with ID. 5G works flawlessly near the 5G tower, and intermittently from my desk. When the phone does connect to 5G from my desk (not exactly sure what prompts it to make that connection) - I get speeds of ~480mbps, which is much better than 4G’s ~10-20mpbs.I’d like to figure a way to force this 5G connection to happen - even if it means I can’t connect to 4G when there’s no 5G available.I’ve tried setting ‘NR Only’ in the service menu of the Pixel, as well as changing my preferred network types in my SIM settings to 5G. At the moment, 5G still only connects (4-5 bars) once in a blue moon and for only a few minutes when I’m at my desk.I don’t seem to have the 5G/LTE Debugging option which allows you to completely disable LTE either.My last and undesired option is rooting the phone to use a slightly dodgy looking app that promises it can force 5G - want to avoid this if possible though!P.s. Battery saver / ANY adaptive battery or

sim card activation

Why does it take 24 hours for a new sim card to be activated? That seems absurd in the electronic age.  Particularly bad, as I am only changing from one phone to another but ID cards do not seem transferable - I also have a Giff Gaff card and that can just be moved from phone to phone.  I am thinking of moving from ID as a result

Some bizarre has happened to my data allowance

Two days ago I received a message saying I had used all my data (1.3GB) and I need to purchase more. This is bizarre because my usage and behaviour has not changed. I normally use no more than 100MB per month and rollover 900MB. At home and work I used WiFi and when comuting I use WiFi on the train. Outside of those I run my Gmail app, Facebook, Met Offie app, National Rail app and Whatsapp on mobile data. There is NO background updating of my apps. I NEVER, for example, download Whatsapp videos or pictures except on WiFi. I don't stream audio or movies. My phone usage is as basic as it comes in the 21st century. Yet I was told that I used 1.33GB of data in a month! Yesterday I bought an add-on of 100MB and today my allowance was refreshed but even before the day is over it is already showing that I have used 300MB - triple what I would normally use each month. Something is terribly wrong. These figures are just not correct. Is it possible please for me to get a detailed list showing h

Can't send MMS and no Mobile Data Network settings

Just joined and using a previous iPhone 6S Plus. I am unable to send any MMS. The MMS toggle is switched on in settings. There is extra credit on my account for payment. There is no "Mobile Data Network" option under the "Mobile Data" in settings.
