    RCS support for IOS 18

    Hi ID I have recently updated my iPhone to the IOS 18 public beta. One of the features coming with IOS 18 is RCS support on iPhone with android users. As of now ID does not appear to support this feature, do you have any plans to enable this in the future. Thank you.

    My daughters are now both over 18 and the contracts on their phone are expired / they wish to upgrade and get new handsets. However as they are both over 18 they want everything in their own name and i want them to pay for their own phones. How can this happen? C

    iMessage and Facetime after port

    I ported my number to ID mobile and imessage and facetime do not work. So i have tried numerous times now where i have: signed out of imessage / facetime switched off imessage and facetime deleted network settings restarted phone, and switched the services back on and still nothing. I get “An error occurred during activation. Try again.” Works fine with email but not my phone number so know its an ID mobile issue trying to connecting to apple system, before it was trying to activate as would see a spinning sign next to my number but now it just fails activation immediately. I also asked for a new e-sim but that also did not fix the issue. I have raised a ticket with ID mobile but its been 3 days now and no update. I have seen other threads with similar issues, like this one: I told the customer rep that this person sooper got tech support to fix this issue and they managed to resolve it, took some time to get them to raise the ticket which they did, but unsure what to do now, has anyon

    Can't receive calls, via cellular or wifi - missing important calls - iPhone

    I’ve been with ID for years and occasionally update my monthly plan. Since last autumn wifi calling at home doesn’t appear to work at all for incoming calls and after disabling that almost no calls appear to get through (poor cell reception area usually 1 bar 4 or 5G, a few houses either way and there’s a better 1-2 bar 5G signal). Although the iPhone doesn’t ring to inform of an incoming call, the missed call notification pops up seconds later. This has now become serious as no calls from the NHS can get through, recently they redialled 16 times in 90 seconds to no avail. It’s a booking service that can only be delivered over the phone, frustratingly. Yesterday I was standing in a park with good 5G service with a friend and they could not get through receiving a “user not available”. I’ve followed the advice on the forum with regard to changes in Settings > Mobile Services save for the reference to APN which isn’t present in iOS 18? Can you help?

    Roaming issue where can’t receive calls

    Me and my wife both got new 2 year contracts last week with new iPhone 16’s. We are now on holiday in Spain. We can both make calls but cannot receive calls. Data works fine. When someone tries to phone our numbers they get a message saying that “the person you are trying to reach will not accept this call”. I have tried all troubleshooting steps, selecting different networks (Orange, Vodaphone, Yoigo, Movistar) and have the same issue. I have tried de-activating and reactivating roaming and international through the ID app and still the issue remains. I have tried live chat who can’t help with this issue other than tell me to try the troubleshooting steps. Interestingly it looks like the person in this thread only a few days ago was having the exact same issue: Can anyone help resolve this please. The issue looks to be on ID side rather than due to phone.

    ID mobile upgrade being returned for no reason

    My upgrade is being returned to Curry's by DPD even though I never requested it. The DPD driver came by my house unexpectedly with my parcel on Tuesday 18 March and told me he couldn't give me the parcel as I had no Parcel ID. I never received one. I paid a VIP £4.99 to have it be delivered on Saturday.22 March. Why is the parcel being returned?

    Traveled fro UK to Morocco - Strange charges

    Hello I travelled to Morocco on Friday, arrived in Marrakesh and quickly discovered that my data roaming didn’t cover. I received the standard text at 18.41 informing me that I’ve started using chargeable services etc etc (my bad). Then almost 30 seconds later I received a text that I’ve now used 80% of my credit limit. Then almost instantly I’d used 100% of my £45 data roaming cap. I then received another text telling me I’d used 80%… Three text messages within a minute at a cost of £45. Impressive. In the meantime I’d been in Morocco for less than 5 minutes. I was still sat in the plane. I then bought an add-on. Can anyone explain what happened in those few minutes and if I can expect this expected charge to be reduced? Thanks

    Roaming in Tenerife not working

    I’m in Tenerife at present and my data roaming isn’t working. I have 4 bars connectivity but no 3g / 4g symbol. I’ve tried doing a network reset, turn data roaming back on, turned phone off then on. (All twice) but nothing has worked. Roaming is also enabled on my ID account. Im using an iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 18.2

    I have an ID sim only deal for my eldest child... he's now turned 18 and wants his own contract, the deal he wants is an ID contract also... how do I keep the the mobile number from the ID sim only and transfer to a new ID contract?

    imessage and Facetime activation error

    Moved physical SIM to new iPhone 16, completed transfer, issue with iMessage and FaceTime activation error. Have tried all of the help posted here and via Apple, none of which has resolved the problem. When I joined ID mobile I ported my number in about 18 months ago. Funnily enough for a short period of time the mobile number offered on iMessage and FaceTime was that pre ported number. I believe the issue is with the sim yet I cannot get past all the automation to actually speak with a real human being to check. I am losing the will to live. Any suggestions please on best route to contact ID mobile as I’ve exhausted all of the. Upgrade to latest iOS, sign out of Apple account, deselect the iMessage and FaceTime account, force a hard restart, check the mobile number is correct, ensure the time is correct ……….. and the rest.

    Google Pixel 7a faulty battery

    I have a Google pixel 7a on contract which is about 18 months old. The battery has started intermittently draining to zero in seconds and a bulge has appeared in the back of the phone. Looking online this is a known issue with the battery, and would normally be covered under warranty. Do I need to go to Google for this or does it sit with Currys/I'd? Thanks.

    Three throttling MVNO Networks

    One of my friends is on Three network not a Three MVNO and I thought I would do some speed tests next to him. The issue is my speed on ID Mobile on 4G in my area is sometimes as low as 0.5mbps . This is the same for my Uncle up the street. My Friend on Three did a speed test outside my house and got - 22mbps down and 9.5mbps up . My test on ID Mobile was - 1.69mbps down and 6.54mbps up . We also did a test about half a mile up the road where he got 59mbps down and 16mbps up whilst I got 3.5mbps down and 18.4mbps up . I used to be on SMARTY network that is also a Three MVNO and got the same speeds as ID Mobile. I have in other areas though got speeds around 60mbps so it looks like Three customers are getting priority on the network when it is busy. The problem is the speeds are throttled that low that you wouldn’t be able to stream any video and sometimes you can barely load a website. This is quite unfair to be honest and needs looking into.

    Google Pixel 9 Pro trade-in offer

    I’m looking at upgrading to the Pixel 9 Pro, which has an offer to get an additional £200 value when you trade-in an old phone. This offer runs from 14/08/24 - 05/09/24, but the pre-order date for the Pixel 9 Pro is 18/9/24. Does this mean I would have to trade in my current handset before I get the new one in order to get the trade-in offer? Thanks for your help!

    switching to id mobile

    I have switched from Three to ID . I have had confirmation email to say the switch is complete but for some reason my new ID mobile number is not working, can’t call out and people can’t call me. Any idea what I can do? I have made sure I’m operating iso 18 , I’ve tried turning phone off and on .but still nothing

    my old phone and old sim was in an ID account in my mums name. as I am 18 now I wanted to have my own phone plan in my own name on a separate account and also upgrade my phone. I have bought a new pay as you go sim and phone which has come with a new phone number, I have created my account in my name. however I was wondering how I can get my old phone number from my old sim and ID account onto my new sim. is there a way you can keep the same number and switch from two different ID accounts or does it only work if your switching from another company over to ID. any help much appreciated

    Can I Switch The Mobile Phone Contract To My Name?

    Hi, I am 18+ and my parent bought a new mobile phone for me a few months ago via ID Mobile Sim Contract and the contract is under his name. I am now in the position to pay the monthly direct debits by myself out of my own bank account so would it be possible to transfer the contract to my name or in the very least in the app change the direct debit details to mine without any legal issues?     Data roaming reset

    I’m roaming in france for 18 days and my plan renews 8 days into the trip. Does this mean i can use 30 gb under fair usage for the first 8 days and then another 30gb for the next 10? Or am i limited to 30gb over the whole trip even with my plan renewing?

    plan suspension and timescale to resolve

    Plan suspension I had a text yesterday morning saying plan suspended due to non payment. The direct debit was taken and returned although adequate funds in account so assume audis issue as I updated account details in the app. I then paid online, is said on app I was still in arrears so I paid again I have now paid my £30 bill/arrears three times, I can't make calls as it says there is an issue I'm on holiday in a foreign country with limited online access to chat to anyone (the time difference also makes this quite difficult). It's been 24 hours since the message saying I was in arrears and access suspended (also no warning which I would have remediated immediately) and 18 hours since I made up the payment and I still cannot use the SIM Please tell me how / when I will have my account switched back on Supplementary to that is it possible to pay the remaining months of both phone and airtime contract so that this can't happen again? Happy to leave the direct debit for any additional co
