Already ID customer and have purchased a new pay monthly deal.

I am a current ID customer and have a Sim only deal (monthly contract).

I have purchased a new 24 month contract with phone through ID (it has a new number).

This new phone has a new number.

I want to port my old number from ID sim and replace the new number on my new contract.

I'm not sure if I have upgraded or just requested a new contract.

Is this possible? And how?

Welcome to the iD Community.



If you have a new number assigned to the handset contract, this is a new contract you've purchased and not an upgrade.



It's not possible to port your number from one iD number to another.



You can look at what's known as a triangle port, however, we don't recommend this due to the complications.



Upgrades are processed from within your iD account/app.



Why don't you take a look at upgrade options and if you find the deal you're after, you should be able to return this new contract purchased from us within 30-days (for new contracts purchased directly on our website/over the phone).
