Hi, I have brought a new phone from id and was wondering how I would swap my old phone number to my new phone. My old phone is with id and so is my new phone. Is this why I am having issues?

Hello @Alisoncq,

It’s not possible to transfer your number from one iD Mobile plan to another.

Did the old phone contract expire?

If this is the case, then you would have needed to upgrade the old contract with a new one.

 

It sounds like you have purchased a brand new contract instead.

You’d have the options of either:

Cancelling the new contract and upgrading the existing to keep your number 

OR

Cancel the old one, losing the number and keeping the new one.
