How can I change the ownership of the SIM from me to my 18 year old daughter?

Hi,

I would like to move my account to be owned by my daughter. I took out the SIM before she was 18, but now that she is 18, I would like to make it her responsibility.

How can I do this?

thanks

Hi @doverton,

Welcome to the iD Community!

Unfortunately the change of ownership of an account is not possible.

Hi, so does that mean she can start a new contract and it can be transferred with a PAC code or will she need to move away from iD to keep her existing number?

thanks

Hi @doverton,

To retain the iD number, you would need to move away from our network as we can't transfer the number to another account. Once it's been moved away using the PAC code, it can be moved back to us on a new plan.
