1. If I purchase a sim only contract can I cap my data usage ? 2. When my sim arrives can I hold on to it for 3weeks before I send a PAC number to keep my old phone number?

We’re extremely sorry for not catching this one sooner @Jen-cliff 

  1.  You can put a spending cap on your account to ensure you’re not able to run up any excessive bills for potentially going over your monthly usage, yes.
  2. Unfortunately not.  Once a SIM arrives it would be active and ready to go from there.
    So we’d advise you only to order a SIM when you’ll be needing it thereabouts. 
    Once you have a SIM though, you can register that and provide a PAC (code) and have a number ported over to us within 1-2 working days at most from there.
