How do I change my username

As you know the ID app features a login in username with an email however since joining the ID app my guardian at that time was using their own email which has now expired as they no longer use that email service anymore. Therefore despite being able to change the email in the ID app /my account-my details/ section to my new email the actual username itself has not followed suit. Therefore how do we change our username to the ID app if it has already expired and is out of date?

Hi @CatherineAnn,

There is no way to change the username I’m afraid. You can still use the email address as the username even if the address is no longer in use; as long as you update the contact email address within the account settings, we will never use the email address used for the username to contact you.
