SIM unlock code

I have put my new SIM into my old Galaxy S7 and asking for SIM unlock code. I have tried 0000 and 1234 with no success. Your live chat says not available despite being in the hours of operation. How do I get this code? I can't contact you.

This live chat is a joke! Waited for over an hour in the queue twice today to then get booted off saying no one is available (despite 1 hour of an estimated 10 second wait!). Thinking of cancelling before I even start. I just need a PUK code.....
