My on-line sign up for a new ID account has gone wrong when almost complete. How do I speak to someone to evaluate the current position?

I eventually got through to LiveChat after at least a dozen attemps.  Before that clicking on ‘LiveChat’ did nothing.
Is it possible that LiveChat was overloaded/inadequately staffed?  
I’ve solved the problem by abandoning my attempts to order a new SIM-only .contract.
[When visiting the Comunity page I noticed that there are a very large number of problems posted and have decided not to join ID].

I’m sorry to see that you have not been able to go ahead with your order. Sometimes our Live Chat team may be unavailable even though it is properly staffed and during certain periods it can become busy so we advise on trying the feature at a later time.
