I've just joined iD and only put my SIM in yesterday evening. I have wifi at home and work and on the bus and only sent a few whatsapp messages and checked the bus status while outside of WiFi. According to my dashboard I've already used 50MB, whereas my phone's own meter is clocking 1.6MB (I know it's not 100% accurate but it's always lined up pretty well with how 3 calculated my usage). What's going on??

Update: The 50MB has been taken off again and the usage now falls right in line with what my phone is saying.
Hello @cja123 ,
Welcome to both iD and our Community!
I can answer this one for you.
The app reserves 50MB of data when you log into the app on mobile data.
If you try turning on WiFi and then view the app, you'll see that the 50MB is not taken.
Hope that helps.
EDIT: I've moved your topic to the more relevant section: App and My Account

Hi Mohammed, thanks for your reply. What does this mean about reserving the data?
Hello @cja123 ,
So if you're on Mobile Data and you open the iD App, the app will keep 50MBs of data so you're able to view the app, check your bills etc.
When you close the app, it'll give you that 50MBs back into your allowances.
If you check the app when you're on WiFi, this won't happen.
Hope that clarifies.

Hi Mohammed, yes that clarifies. But what happens if I have less than 50MB remaining, or even 0?
