Why have I suddenly used all my data?

Never had this problem before, had the phone 2 years I think and never received a text to say I’ve nearly used all my data, could you explain why this has happened?

I’m sorry to hear you’ve used your monthly data allowance, I’d recommend double checking the iD Mobile App to see any usage! Your device may even be able to tell you in it’s settings.
