I recently got a new iphone15 and the battery lasts less than a day, most days I need to charge it to get through the whole day. Worse than my 3 year old iPhone 11! Do others have this problem or do I have a faulty handset?

How long have you owned your iPhone 15? Your battery consumption will always be higher in the first few days, as it runs lots of background processes to sync all your information. If the situation doesn’t improve, you have a 28 day faulty exchange period from date of purchase.

Ah that’s annoying. I’ve had it for just over a month now and no improvement. 

It’ll be worth checking which apps are using the most battery @OllieB.

Settings → Battery. 

Then look at the BATTERY USAGE BY APP section.
