Partner and I with ID phones where contract ended , wish them unlocked

My partner and I have id contracts that have ended and we wish our mobiles to be unlocked so we can use any sim we wish , we dont wish to upgrade so please dont try . how do we get our phones unlocked they were bought at carphone wearhouse

Upgrade 24 months period

I am currently sim only and considering a phone upgrade. I wonder what happens at the end of a 24 month payment period? I assume the phone is then mine and will get the option to change the phone again or switch the plan to a sim only deal and adjust the direct debit accordingly. Any comments will be appreciated :yum:

Unexpectedly high bill. Cannot open the section of online account for the 2nd phone.

I have an account for 2 phones - one for me and one for my son. I set them both to be capped at £10 a month. My bank statement this month has a payment to iD for £178. I have checked the account for my phone and it looks like I'd expect. I cannot work out how to open the account for my son's phone on the website. A quick reply would be appreciated. Hi, purchased a new I phone se with Id SIM card earlier today, says in packaging it should automatically activate once inserted? It doesn’t! ive been on website and tried everything that is recommended and still no working phone? have a very disappointed 11 year old girl on her birthday 😡

Does the date that your allowances refresh change with an upgrade?

Every month my allowances refresh on the 1st which is ideal. I have heard that a new contract begins on the day the phone is dispatched. If the order is dispatched on a day that is not the 1st of a month, does the date my allowances refresh change?

Are there any add on packages to buy inclusive minutes for use whilst abroad in Thailand

My previous network provider offered add ons which could be bought either whilst you are away or before you traveled for a set number of minutes of calls from the country you are going to, avoiding hefty bills when you return. Does ID do this please and if so could you post a link to the web pages as i can't find anything on there about add-ons for international calling. I'm going to Thailand which is outside the 50 covered countries and according to the charges on the website it looks like £2.40 per minute which is outrageous. Thanks

iD mobile App (android) says: "Not available in your country"

I want to manage my account from my phone - I follow the many links to the store to search for iD Mobile App but the store says "Not available in your country" I've had the phone 3 weeks and have never left England. Surely the App is supposed to work in the UK?

Samsung Galaxy S8 "Emergency calls only"

hi. I got my Galaxy s8 yesterday. I have a con In signal blackspots, my S8 still thinks there is signal and data but is really slow on mobile data. It seems like the Emergency Calls Only thing may have been removed. This was not a problem as my old Galaxy J3 2016 let me know where the calls were limited to emergencies. OS: J3 Lollipop with Touchwiz S8 Oreo with Samsung Experience (Formerly Touchwiz) Do you know what happened?

Upgrading but delaying using phone

Hi my son's eligible for an upgrade his contract ends at the end of November,I'm looking to give him his new phone on his birthday in mid December. What is the best way to go ahead with the upgrade but let the existing phone run till mid December so he doesn't know I've purchased the new phone as a present?. The contract is in my name and I deal with the account....

New SIM card but no service

I recently moved to ID from O2 on a sim only basis. I have received my SIM card and placed into my phone (iphoneXS) and still no service. You ask me to register on the app but it asks for a code which is sent to your mobile. If you have no service this seems pointless as I’ll never receive it, I haven’t. Tried putting into flight mode as suggested, nothing, taken SiM out and cleaned and restarted, nothing. Online chat not available. iPhone was purchased outright so it can’t be locked to any network.Beginning to regret moving. Any help much appreciated as I go on holiday tomorrow and need my phone.

Additional charges for data

Hi, I ran out of data yesterday at 22.46 and had a text from ID to say so. I turned off my roaming instantly as my data refreshed today and therefore didn’t purchase an add on. At 23.12 I had a text message from ID to day is reached 80% of my capped limit. How is this possible as I turned my roaming off as soon as the first message came through? I need this charge removed as I acted instantly when my data ran out. Nicola
