I have forgotten my screen lock pin 4 digits how can I fix

Not something your phone carrier can assist with, as you set it and only you’ll know it…. or not as you don’t seem to have written it down :( 
Visit one of your  local phone shops who no doubt will be able to remove the code for a price.

Cheers did online chat with Samsung who instructed me to do a factory reset only works if you put the same gmail and password into phone working again

Unfortunately as @Geluk this isn’t something we at iD Mobile would be able to help with directly as the PIN set on a device is set by the user and known only to them, a full factory reset of the device may be possible via a boot menu.
