I did not receive new SIM card on plan upgrade

Hi,

I upgraded my plan 2 days ago. I received a new phone but no new SIM card.

Last night I received a text saying “Your new SIM card is now in the process of being activated...”.
My old SIM card stopped working from that moment.

Do I need a new SIM card or is it possible to re-activate the old one?

You’re supposed to use the existing SIM but there are a lot of posts like yours lately, iD Mobile must have implemented a backend change which is causing this issue. TBH, you’re better off going to a local Curry’s store and requesting a replacement SIM.

Hey @Ikrapec,

Best is getting a replacement SIM card and activating it to fix the issue as we can’t reactivate the old SIM.
