why does my phone meep muting me?

For the last few weeks, whenever I ring someone they can’t hear me. I’ve restarted my phone, used the sim in a different device and nothing changes. It’s as if my phone is completely muted, I usually have 2-3 bars of signal and it’s not just 1 number it happens to, not really great when trying to ring businesses and looking quite unprofessional when you have to keep ringing them to see if it’s going to work or not

Is it muting for the whole call or happening randomly on parts of the call?

What’s the full postcode of the area you are using it in?
