What are call charges or premium calls?

If you have a Pay monthly plan or a Pay as you go plan with iD Mobile and you go over your allowances or bundle, you could incur some extra charges. You can find everything you need to know in our in-depth guide about call charges

How do I know I have a call waiting?

Call waiting is a function that allows the person talking on the phone to be notified if another call is incoming. The call waiting feature depends on the type of handset you have, however, most modern smartphones support this.  

You can activate these features by dialling the codes below:  

  1. To Activate: *43# 

  1. To Deactivate: #43# 

  1. To Check Status: *#43# 

What is call dropping?

A dropped call happens when your phone gets disconnected from the cellular network. This usually happens due to poor signal in your location. To stop this from happening on a regular basis, you’ll need to check what network mode is selected in your phone settings. Follow the steps below to check your network mode:  

  1. Go to Settings  

  1. Tap Connections  

  1. Select Mobile networks  

  1. Click Network Mode  

  1. Ensure LTE/3G/2G is selected
