I returned my phone and sim within the returns window as I didn't realise I was still contracted on my other phone. I've been fully refunded today and received an email stating I owe £7.30? Live Chat is busy. I've never used iD mobile before and doubt I will again

Unfortunately @Charlie Michelle, this happens because iD Mobile dispatch already activated SIM cards for new customers, and charge line rental from the day new iD SIM card is dispatched.

This policy is hidden away in the terms and conditions agreed at the point-of-purchase.

Billing begins upon dispatch and with any return you would still owe for the time spent on the returned contract.
