Cant text my partner who is abroad? Error 0

Hello my partner has gone abroad to an EU country. We both have UK phone numbers and can text fine in the UK.

When I try to text while she is abroad all I keep getting is unable to send error message 0.

She can text me which is strange but I can't text her.

I have an unlimited plan with every option turned on in my account. My bill cap is also set at £20 so should be space if it was going to charge me. I have also tried two sms apps Google and Samsung. (Phone is s23plus)

Can anyone advise why I can't text?

This error is typically fixed by either ensuring the message center code is correct or using a replacement SIM card.

 

Messaging > 3 dots right hand corner > Settings > More settings > Text Messages > Message center

If your partner is abroad in the EU, then I think you’d also need the International option to be switched-on in your iD online account, @Lukeyyy07. 

Currently this could be hard to check, with the iD app and iD online account service being unavailable.
