Error sending messages that could result in extra charges


Multiple times I have tried to send messages to reputable numbers that give a notification saying they’could result in extra charges’. After approving this notification, and trying to send the message I get a notification that says ’Couldnt send message’.

I have checked all phone settings that could prevent these messages from sending. Is there a setting that I need to change through ID mobile?

Are you still having this issue? Please could you let us know the number(s) you’re attempting to message?

 

As long as the bill cap is high enough and that premium numbers are enabled in the app we’d expect this to work as long as it’s a supported shortcode.

Thanks. I increased the bill cap but this has not resolved the issue unfortunately.

Your iD account bill cap will need to be high enough to allow for any SMS charges, which are deemed to be out-of-plan.
