ID mobile working fine, but phone on "3" no signal

Strange situation in that my “3” phone has no signal, and on their network coverage page, “3”

confirm a problem in my area.

How come my id mobile broadband is fine and it comes from same mast I can see across the fields?

Your mobile broadband modem/router might have a better antenna than the phone with the 3 SIM card. 

The Three UK network status page doesn’t usually say if the cell tower/s are operating at reduced power.

Hi @Geluk 

 

I’m sorry to hear there’s an outage, it’s possible as @andewhite mentions above that the router might have different hardware that would enable a better connection that a regular SIM card, I’d recommend asking Three UK directly.
