Hope someone can help?
My pixel 7 pro recently reset for a security update and when turning back on it asked for a password to regain access to the device.
I tried my passcode and Google password with no luck and ultimately had to Dona factory reset and wipe everything.
Has anyone had this before?
Google can't advise if anything and are useless.
I may send the phone back now! I do not trust it at all!

I can’t say I’ve ever heard of a device asking for a passcode/password that you didn’t set yourself, unfortunately my best suggestion would be to be reporting this to Google directly or ensuring that only secure and trusted apps/software are installed on the device.
