new customer, wants to keep number, PAC

Hello, I'm a new customer my contact begins tomorrow, I signed up using a PAC code but have received a new number in an email. The new number is [REDACTED]. I'd like to keep my old number if possible. My old number is [REDACTED]. Thanks.

Good luck!  I started a new contract last Wednesday with my number due to be ported last Friday.  My old network disconnected my number last Friday morning & it hasn’t worked since.  ID mobile say the port was successful but cannot explain to me what has happened to my number. They’ve been telling me for 6 days now that it will be resolved within 24 hours.  I would seriously reconsider your move to ID if you can!

This is completely normal, all plans are provisioned a number from us before the number you transfer is transferred over.

I’m sorry to hear this, this sounds like a completely different issue to the original posters issue however. If you’re already in contact with a team we’d recommend keeping contact with them.
