Not receiving text messages

Hello, my phone is not receiving any text messages from company's and websites (for example PayPal)... they've sent me a one off verification code to my number, but I've not received it yet.

Have also tried this with banking app still not received verification code. 

Phone is pixel 7 pro transferred number over from Vodafone

This appears to happen quite frequently when numbers are ported from Vodafone to iD.

In most cases it seems to sort itself out after a few days.

If not, you’ll need to use iD live chat, facebook, or Twitter to get iD to check your number was ported correctly - good luck @Sean Cragg.

Have you tried a NETWORK RESET @NothappywithID
The handset user guide would normally explain how to do this.

What issues are you having?

 

On another post you’ve mentioned not being able to begin a number transfer, so unless you’ve set verification codes to the given iD Mobile number they wouldn’t get to that SIM.

 

Please let us know exactly what stage you’re at and what issues you’re having so we can correctly advise.
