Unfortunately, iD Mobile can’t / don’t / won’t transfer a number from one iD account to another iD account, @Colin Muller

To use the number you want to keep with your new S23 Galaxy + line rental deal, you’ll need to switch the number you’re keeping to another service provider by PAC, then switch the number back to the iD account for your new handset, again by PAC.

It’s a faff and takes several days or more, but you’ll be able to use the number you want to keep with your new handset.

Hi @Colin Muller

Have you been given a new mobile number for your S23 contract?

If so, this is a completely different line to the one you have already, to have kept the number with the one account, an upgrade should have been performed.

To transfer the number from one iD Mobile plan to another, you’ll need to do the above mentioned by @andewhite, what we’d call a triangle port.

Effectively moving the number you want to keep to another network’s Pay As You Go SIM card and then from that Pay As You Go SIM card to the newly purchased iD Mobile plan.
