Hello, I am currently engaged in a civil dispute where a garage has charged me for unnecessary work and has fooled me off saying I authorised it. Is it possible to access or request an audio recording of the call made to prove right disprove what was said?
What’s this garage’s process for getting a customer’s authorisation
Most garages would initiate the call to the customer, to obtain consent for any additional works required.
I’d imagine that even if this was possible, you’d need both parties to the conversation to agree, unless the request was made by a law-enforcement agency.
