I have switched over my number to this new phone with ID with a PAC code, I can call people and it comes up as my contact number however I can’t text and calls do not come through to this new phone they only come through to my old phone. I have restarted both phones and turned off my old phone and got someone to call and it still didn’t come through to my new phone

Which make and model handset do you have?
If it’s an iPhone, please try the below:
1) Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2) Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3) Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct.
4) If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5) Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6) Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under “Start new conversations from:”.
Please also reset your network settings to see if that works.
