Nuisance calls are unwanted phone calls from a person or business attempting to contact you to promote a product, service or cause. These can come in the form of an automated message that is pre-recorded or live calls from a real person.
To avoid receiving nuisance calls, you can register with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) free of charge. They’ll add you to the list of numbers that don’t want to receive sales and marketing calls.
