Two iD contracts number swap

Hi iD,

 

Sorry to bother you guys here but couldn’t connect to live help chat.

I have two contracts with iD, one expiring in the new year. Is there any way to swap the numbers round between the two contracts? They are both with iD, both are mine.

If the answer is ‘no’. Could I somehow use a different network SIM to transfer one number to and then transfer it back to iD but to the other contract…?

Hi @Mikey G,

Thanks for getting in touch, unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to swap the number across in this way due to system limitations. There is nothing stopping your mentioned workaround from working however if you did want to give that a try.
