4g Upgrade

Hello - I currently use a simple Doro phone which won’t work when 3g is switched off later this year.  I can upgrade to a 4g phone with no problem but would this mean starting a new contract?  I’ve been with ID for many years and the monthly charge has remained the same.  Many thanks for any assistance.

If you order an upgrade from the “Upgrades” tab via logging into the iD Mobile app/website, then you will continue with your same mobile number and same account, but on your new contract charge.

 

If you order a completely new contract, then you’ll not be able to directly transfer your phone number to it, and will simply have the new plan individually.
