no service or data

thanks both,sorry for not being clear, my daughters id sim worked fine, and now it doesn’t. It cannot find any networks and therefore cannot send or receive calls, texts or use data, no matter where she is- not really much use!. her carrier is apparently 3, but it’s not picking up any other available carriers, and we have virgin and O2 coverage in the house (other sims working fine on those networks). This has been an issue for over a week now. Our postcode is cf24 4ry, but as I say, her SIM doesn’t recognise any networks as being available on a scan no matter where the phone is.
