Out of x-files

Just got my new account with iD mobile sorted. Making my first call and I heard a conversation ,faint but there about a lady speaking to a retail shop about temperature of fridge. The person I was calling had difficulty in hearing me. I terminated the call and tried again and still that lady was still talking about a fridge. I was using WiFi calling could that be the problem? I haven't used the phone again. Anyone out there ?
