signal issues

I live about less than a mile away from a mast and I get no signal at home iv checked the coverage checker and get this message (The mast you're connected to has a lot of traffic right now. We know about this and we're working on expanding the capacity of the mast to let more people use it. This should fix the problems you're seeing. We're aiming to have this sorted by 14 November 2018.) yet I understand that things might be slow but would this cause the no signal issue im getting its mad to live so close to a mast and get no signal at all

Wifi calling sony xperia xz1

Hi I no this model isn't on the supported list yet but is capable of WiFi calling I was told by customer service that I could use it but they couldn't say it would definitely work but should if it was capable now my question is this you need to have the carrier setting OTA update to activate this feature so how do I get the OTA update my previous network was vodafone and WiFi calling was working fine
