Changed plan and now unable to access network

I switched to a SIM only contract 2 days ago. I was advised that I would not need a new physical SIM and it would take a maximum of 24 hrs for the switchover. Since then my phone has displayed emergency calls only in locations where there are strong signals.

Hey @AndrewMardon,

We do send a blank replacement SIM with SIM only upgrades so at this moment in time it’s not possible to stop this.

However, it sounds like you may have acitvated this via the app in error.

This has now transferred services to the new SIM.

You can either wait for the replacement SIM to arrive which is usually 2-3 days so should be with you soon, then pop that SIM in and it’ll work or you can get a replacement for free via Currys and activate this later.
