Unable to upgrade

Hi,

I’m trying to upgrade my phone, however the payment will not process and still take 1p. This has happened repeatedly and with different payment cards. Can I upgrade or do I have to cancel contract and go elsewhere? Also will the 1p charges be refunded?

Generally speaking, this kind of thing only happens if there is a mismatch between the details we hold for you, and the details of the bank you’re trying to use.

Please ensure your bank has the exact same address for you as the one you have on your iD Mobile account.

If need be, update your details within your iD Mobile account or with your bank to make them a match.

Any 1p charges that were done as a validity and fraud protection check will be auto-refunded to the card in question there within 3-5 working days.
